I'm having trouble with the mission. I've tried it a dozen times or so, with some variations of skills, but it doesn't make much difference. The skree kill me in 10 seconds every time. Can someone give me a farming build for a paragon without too many secondary class skills? Or a way to skip the mission completely?
Do the missions really get harder? Raisu Palace was a joke compared to this. I can't believe how hard it is, or imagine that the missions actually get harder than this. It looks like it was supposed to be fun, but it's just a miserable, frustrating piece of shit and I hate it.
I'm currently using anthem of flame, signet of aggression, go for the eyes, cruel spear, barbed spear, some other attack skills. Nothing special.
Thanks

Let the NPC's aggro them and then support them? The only "difficult" part of this mission for me was defeating Lumo the Mime in a miming contest for the bonus. I play a dervish btw.

You get 3 or 4 soldiers in your team, let them kill, keep them alive.
And yea, the mime is the hard part.

I thought it was pretty easy. Just aggro skrees, bring them to the vabbian guards, run away, come back and kill. I did it with my mesmer with no self heal and no anti-melee skills.

Yep. Most skrees should be auto-pwnt by the guards. I had no problem (and a ton of fun!) doing this mission. The mime took me 3 tries >.<

There are only 4-5 skrees and they usually busy slaughtering the vabbian nobles to pay any attention to you. If you put in some damage skills, you can easily take them out by the time the last vabbian noble dies and they turn their attention to you. If you fail to do that, then turn tail and run leading them to the Vabbian guards who are incidentally on your party bar as NPC's. They should finish them off quickly.
The tough part of the entire mission is if you are doing bonus and go up against the mime. Some players also have problems in the duel, particularly the support classes.

Loved that mission, got masters first try.
Loved stealing the drinks from the nobles.
I blitzed mime contest first go, you just need to know your ranger emotes

As an Ele I found most of the mission a breeze. Searing Flames and Glowing Gaze build with some healing thrown on just in case after. The Skree are a bit harder and I had no idea where the guards were so that part was frustrating. I'll have to try tagging the first group and dragging them where the guards are.
Thanks for the idea! Should be much easier than trying to solo them.

I think Tihark is a riot. I replay it occasionally just for the fun and games.

The mime part was easy! So was the duel, and I'm a NECRO! (no NOT MM). But I can't find the other 2 bonuses, I've done the MIME, Dancing Girl, and Duel. The Guy with the Keg?? Wut up with that? So wuts the deal with the last 2? I dunno wut they are. Also with the Skree I try to take them one by one but that can't be done all the time I'm going to try different build, I may go MM just for the extra help.

You have to drink the man under the table as one of the bonuses... Also at a corner just before you start walking the long straight path is a woman, speak to her, and kill her, and you will get a vase from her. Also the last part of the bonus.

5 bonus objectives:
-Teach the shy little girl how to dance: use /dance emote in front of her;
-Win mime duel: have the mime start, then whatever emote he performs, you must mirror it by performing the same emote. Look at the emote list on the quick reference that came with the game. For me, /drum and /beg were the hardest to figure out;
-Get the vase for the prince: either attack and kill the woman that tells you about the vase, kill the guard that has the vase (the only hostile before the scree) or spend money to buy the vase;
-Win the drinking contest: talk to the drunk, then quickly talk to nearby nobles to steal their drinks. Actually gets quite hard in the end, since you are so drunk, you can't see where you're going No, it doesn't count for the drunkard title. Try to take the time to read your own monologue, very funny;
-Act out the role of Turai Ossa by defeating the actor plaing Palawa Joko (talk to play manager, defeat the player that goes hostile);

This is my newest all-time favorite mission. I failed it the first time because I completely wasn't prepared for the Skree, but the second time through was a breeze. I hope they make more missions like this in future chapters.

Getting Masters on Tihark is very do-able as a MM, you just have to get creative on corpse generation.

and the skree part was so easy especially when you bring your pet along and the rest of the guards do the rest for you

The trick is simply. Pack a couple of power attack skills and plenty of self heals and defence skills/stances.
First take out the Skree on the right hand side near the stairs, as they kill the NPCs attacking them fastest.
Then go for the middle and left hand groups.
Basically the NPCs make good cannon fodder and help damage the Skree, so use that to your advantage to do damage to them, while they are busy attacking the Guards and Nobles.
