Basic monk build for Kaineng area?
Hello, I am starting a factions monk and I would like to know what basic kind of build I am looking for once I hit Kaineng. Once I get off Shing Jea Island, I plan to move to NF to go cap Light of Deliverance, Glimmer of Light and Zealous Benediction. After I cap those three, I plan to come back to Factions and beat that campaign.
Since Kaineng (not Kaineng CENTER, the whole area that IS NOT filled with Luxons/Kurzicks) is full of Afflicted, am I looking for a heavy condition removal? Anti spike? Heavy Hex removal?
Based on my experience completing the game with a W and a A, I'm guessing a healing with 1 condtion removal and maybe 2 hex removal. This is my own thoughts on the Afflicted:
Warrior - Basic hammer, no KD even
Ranger - Throw Dirt, this skill can hurt the warriors and is the main reason why I'm bringing a condition removal.
Monk - N/A
Necromancer - Has Order of Apostasy. Should I bring less enchantments...?
Mesmer - Images of Remorse and Kitah's Burden can be nasty...but they end quickly, so should I bring plenty hex removal?
Elementalist - Spike damage, can be countered with healing
Assassin - Gives bleeding, but not a big problem
Ritualist - N/A
Based on this, I'm thinking non-ench healing skills such as Dwayna's Kiss, Orison of Healing, Gift of Health, etc.
Your thoughts?

I usually go with something like:
heal breeze
orison
woh
heal touch
(condition removal--dismiss cond, mend cond, mend ailment)
(self defense skill--defensive stance, dryder's defenses, etc.)
(speed boost or utility--sig of devotion, holy veil, natural stride, storm chaser, etc.)
(resurrection skill--rebirth, etc.)
Since there are so many hexes (and many are pretty pointless), you can't hope to remove them all. Just focus on outhealing the damage and you should be fine.

You really dont want to take gift of health on a healing bar, the skill disabling can hurt. Here's something I would use:
Word Of healing
Dwayna's Kiss
Words of comfort(If you have nightfall)/Orison of healing
Dismiss/mend condition or mend ailment
Signet of devotion
Holy Veil
[Sort of optional](signet of rejuvenation is nice)
Resurrection skill
Hope this helps at all :P

I generally don't take any enchants around the Kaineng area; there are way too many afflicted mesmers with shatter enchantment. I also prefer some sort of anti-spike healing for the melee characters, especially if you bring area damage. I usually go with something like:
Dwayna's Kiss (a must, sometimes it does more than WoH)
Signet of Rejuvenation
WoH
Heal Other
Healing Touch
Heal Party
Inspired Hex (or any other hex removal)
Resurection Chant
Unless there's some really heavy damage being dealt, I only heal using the first 3 skills + inspired hex when necessary.

Alright I have tried to combine your builds, and I am up to Nahpui Quarter, and it works wonders! Now the Afflicted aren't so bad when I was a warrior -.-
Thanks for the help guys!
