Yeah you can, the jades that come in will attack ANYTHING that comes in Stone Summit, White Mantle, and even the other Mursaat and Jade. They can take out the first like 6 or 7 groups. Works very well as long as you dont have some idiot who aggros them.

I think you must have taken longer than 30 seconds to light the beacons.
You do not get a message that says 'bonus failed' if you fail to light the beacons quickly enough.
You have exactly 30 seconds to light the beacons from the time the cinematic finishes. If you see the following text appear then you have been too slow:
"The end is here! Great Dwarf save us!" - this means the dwarf party has been killed.

From experience I know that a running skill is not neded to get the bonus. With heroes and henchmen I simply flag the party at the king and walk to the two beacons. Remember to light each with the torch next to it - if you carry the torch with you, it slows you down. The danger here was never failing the bonus - rather it was accidentally aggroing the incoming Stone summit groups, which can be a problem to a solo character with the party parked far far away.
I'm quite certain that the player simply thought "If the dwarves survive, I'm OK", and found out that the dwarves who managed to survive on their own are not happy that there was no help from the big heroes...

This Mission as some may testify can be a little frustarting to say the least if a team does not pull to-gether.....
The main aim is to defeat ...ensuring the King does not die....
I will hope to enlighten and comments can be added on the view to this mission......
When you have reached the part when you kill first boss in arena...skip video...
lite the 2 fires east and west if you wish bonus...30sec limit to lite both fires....
If you all stand close to king for a few minutes the Jade who enter arena
will stay there till the Musserattt come in.....the Jade will Kill the musseratt beleive it or not lol
When they have did this this is where teamwork pays off
and mission can be a success
The Monk***( explain later)
Now you have 2 ways i found this successful either stay on top in front of King
2 guys when they see the enemy appearing on compass use the catapults on east/west side to take out some who appear on east side
near the end THE KING. will come off his stand...Important Part...The Monk***** if the Monk keeps casting healing breeze as with another on him while the rest take out the last few guys and Confessor Boss..
he will not die.....
.................................................. ................................
The Central Position Method........this can be done if all guys use the middle of arena and 2 run up to use catapults on east and west and run down(this works in Bonus as well)....................
Always look for the king near the end as he will run to any/both sides to fight last few guys.......Healing Breeze on him...to
protect
Many missions are Lost though a little Greed to pick up the drops...
Dont...get them during the lull before each attack if you wish as seen many missions fail cause guys run off to get a drop...
The BONUS........there is a time limit in lighting the fires its 30 secs to light both east and west.......If on your own run left first lite becon then still holding same torrch run accross the middle and up stairs on right side this allows you plenty of time under the 30 sewc time limit
Using either of the methods above will do the bonus also with just a few things near End when king moves off stand...
When you kill Cofessor the Last Boss..and it asks you to speak to the King.........DO NOT SPEAK TO HIM YET...... go out east gate all of you to find last 2 groups of Jades kill these guys and at bottom you see cave just run in and out and when you have killed them.Musseratt can be on right side also this lets you map out also and did that return to speak to King..you will then get bonus points also
this mission is easily henched...so if doing it with hench place flag in center in front of King....they hench have enough distance in them to take out both sides down to bottom of stairs and east and west when you get attacked from the top side also

Agreed, I have the same experience. Just light the first beacon, drop the torch and walk to the other beacon pick up the torch next to it and light it. After that just walk back to your party (and the king).

Wow i absolutely hate this piece of shit. I spent like what 1-2 hours doing this with henchs killed absolutely every moving thing on the entire map and nothing lit the beacons in under 30 seconds and both of the dwarf groups were alive. SO RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOING LAME. If anyone is willing to help me out with this and run the bonus for me ill pay you like 5-10k and you can show me this stupid thing is actually possible. My ign is glorified death

There seems to be a small glitch or bug with the bonus in Thunderhead Keep. I did this mission two months ago with my nuker, heroes, and henchmen. After you light the beacons just stand behind King Jalis Ironhammer. The Jade Amours will come in and kill all those monsters coming in. Eventually, the Mursaat will come and kill off the Jade Armours. When you defeat the last boss (Dorian), talk to King Jalis and he'll give you credit for the bonus. Usually, when you finish the bonus in Prophecies, you see the shield and sword display. However, in Thunderhead Keep there is a bug. A PUG is very challenging because you have people not following your call targets and warriors running to the next group of foes before your energy re-charges for you casters. Just use henchmen and heroes. The other method of splitting group in two small groups at each door has like a 50% success rate from my experience. Light the beacons and stand behind Jalis Ironhammer and let the Jade amours kill the first couple of waves of monsters.

I did it with my sin a day or two ago without trouble. Like everyone says, light the beacons quickly with a run skill and talk to the King. If it doesn't work then I guess it must be glitchy...

I completed Thunderhead Keep today and did not receive the bonus.
This is what I did:
-I cleared the fort and skipped the cut scene
-I immediately lit two storm beacons
-Sat on top of the stairwell with henchmen in front of the king until I killed Confessor Dorian
-Went outside and killed everything
-Saw a group of Soldiers, still alive outside
-Talked to the King and got pissed that I was not rewarded the bonus so I posted this here.
*NOTE*I killed every monster on the map.

Odd. A few weeks ago I did the mission with a friend (he had a lot of trouble with it, so the two of us henched it). We died the first time since we couldn't catapult enough giants at the start. This happened a second time, and I got really annoyed. Then I read how if you lit the beacons, the jades would come and pretty much tear through the first few waves.
...so I lit one beacon, he lit the other (this was immediately after skipping the cutscene). We still got the bonus.
