BTW, is there anyways of seing which area you have cleared or its a personal mather of paper and pencils ?

The Area's switch from Red to gold once you have cleared it out for the title.

It sounds as though you didn't know that the Vanquisher title only requires you to clear the explorable areas -- not the missions.

It appears as though in the missions you don't have to kill everything. Only the Explorable Areas. In Tyria, the missions are not also explorable areas so you don't need them to achieve Vanquisher. I did that first mission and killed most of the enmies, but skipped the 2 devourers while running from that army at the end, and the helmet still turned gold.

The real test would be to look and see if there is a kill count in the top corner during the mission. If there isn't, don't worry about killing everything.
