This seems like a strange mission.

Does anyone know what has to be done to complete it.
I talked to some people but nothing seems to happen.

It's all about talking and emotes. The main objective is to talk to the three princes - Ahmtur, Bokka and Mehtu - but before you can do that, you need to interact with several other npcs.

Speak to Dual Master Lumbo and defeat "Palawa Joko", a L20 necro.
Talk to Zilo the Drunkard, then run around talking to 12 assorted nobles in order to get drunk
Talk to Royal Finance Minister Oloda, then obtain a vase from Jejumba by paying 4 plat or just killing her
Teach Dende or Mina to dance (speak to them then do a /dance)
Mime duel! Talk to Lumo the Mime and copy his emote as fast as you can.

After that lot, you can speak to all 3 princes, then Ahmtur will speak to you again. This will set you off against a band of invading harpies - fortunately with the help of a few guards.
