Tips for Vizunah Square HM...
I'm trying out HM in Local quarters Vizunah square and I got wiped when the first party fights it out. I'm thinking of trying it out on the foreign side. Anybody tried this mission and have any success? Thanks.
BTW, I solo with henchies.

That's too bad. If you had heros I could recommend to bring mm, and 2 sf nukers.

soloing with hench doesnt cut it in vizunah, you need to be able to split and you need monks that are smart enough to dodge broad head arrow. I agree though that its a tough nut to crack. MM and nukers do very well there, so do monk with aegis, or a ward ele maybe. I played on my necro this afternoon using more or less this build:
Spiteful Spirit {E}
Enfeeble
Insidious Parasite
Barbs (works awesome with minions)
Mark of Pain
Signet of Lost Souls
Blood Ritual
Res sig
Works awesome against all the melee that is swarming you. You need good condition removal too, because the rangers spam throw dirt and broad head arrow. And I killed the eles first, they have a nasty spike.

I gave it a try with H/H a couple of times. Couldn't survive the opening fight. Then I moved over to the Foreign side and was actually able to survive it. I was only able to get Expert though. Grabbed a guildy and did it without the hench and got masters.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to do Nahpui...perhaps we need to create a hard mode sign-up thread.

Paragon with Defensive Anthem and a warrior with Shield's Up! goes a long way in this mission. If you can chain the two it can reduce a lot of damage and prevent a lot of daze. Minion masters work well, but don't use Aura of the Lich; hard mode monsters will lock on you with half health. Splinter weapon works really well which goes without saying.
Basically any party wide enchantments/shouts are key, and a lot of AoE damage worked for my group when we finally got masters.

Naphui is actually rather easy, just bring spell breaker for that damn turtle or he will just own you with grenths balance. as for the rest, the mission is manageable with a normal cookie cut party.

This is what I posted in gwo hope it helps:
I've just gotten masters on this mission in hm, did it unter 30 min with no deaths
2 mm is still the key...
Heroes used:
Olias: flesh golem [E], shambling, vampiric, death nova, blood of master, sig of lost souls, br, channeling
Whispers: Jagged horror, bone horror, bone minions, blood of master, death nova, sig of lost souls, rez, channeling
the basic idea is that Olias with higher recharge skills can concentrate on death nova spamming while whispers concentrate on minion management.
I am a spirit spammer myself:
Oath, pain, darksong, union, shelter, displacement, energizing wind, ssrez
I got Sousuke skilled for earth warder without rez:
Earth attune, melee ward, ele ward, against foe ward, churning earth, sandstorm, stoneflesh aura
Along with Cynn the aoe scatters the mob nicely so that the team doesn't take much dmg.
Henchmenwise:
Cynn (already said)
Chiyo + Healer (these are the only healers available at foreign quarter)
The extra shelter Chiyo brings is nice, helped me when we're fighting the ele boss when my shelter ran out and oath still recharging.
Devona (meh rather choose her than a sin hench)
Tips:
- You will be leaving from the Foreign Quarter, reason stated in my OP
- In the First area don't stay in the middle, stay slightly to the right (right when you're back is facing the exit that leads on to the next area) so that you fight 2 groups max. (have your aggro bubble touching the wall)
- In the second area, again don't stand in the middle so you get ganged by the 3 spawns, flag your hench immediately to the right as you enter. (Later on since Togo stands further away you might have to deflag your team and rescue him, but it should be very close to the end and doesn't matter much)
- In the 3rd area move between the center plaza and on top of the stairs. Don't go down the slope.
- ALWAYS call target the enemy ele first
- I find that the afflicted rits in hm doesn't rez as fast as in normal mode and even if they do both would be on low hp.
- Disable Blood of the Master from both nec during heated battles. i.e. the 3 main areas.
That's all for now, if you need any more tips on this or the other missions I've completed in hm just post on this thread and I'll try to answer.
TY

2 MMs ... at least 1 with jagged bones elite
target ritualists first, nice to have a mes/e with spiritual pain and GoLE
And I agree with the above post on AoE ... its actually nice to have them run so they dont attack you as much. Bringing decent condition control or something like 'Shield's Up!' might help versus the Broad Head. Whatever you do, DON'T bring favorable winds! xD

Did this with my guildies. We had 2 in Local and 2 in Foreign and synched up our teams. Both teams had 1 Human monk and 1 human tank. We took 1 MM per side, 1 hero monk, 3 SF's Ele's, 1 They're on Fire, Defensive Anthem, WY, Shield's Up Paragon.
Was really simple. No one in the party dropped below 75% health. We actually finished in time for Normal Mode masters

Calling the targets is the key here. If you don't call them, don't expect to succeed at all.

Im strugging on Vizunah, but I managed Nahpui with no problems at all using SF way.
One thing I do on time constrained missions is roll a command para with Fall back + charge and alternate them when running. But Vizunah is proving to be very tough on HM.

Did this from Foreign Quarter with masters in with me being the only real player in the mission. I brought two ranger hero's (one trapper and one barrager/interrupter) and mm hero along with healer, warrior, rit, and ele hench. Mhenlo and Togo help with the healing. I ran an earth ele build with 3 aoe spells and two wards (foe and elements). First time I tried it I brought ss necro hero instead of the trapper and that was hopeless all he did was die.

my party was:
2monks----
me(LoD)
gf on monk(ZB)
MM with golem
MM with jagged bones
2SF eles
Unsteadground/eruption/wards ele
Barrage margrid
barely beat it imo.. we came close to wiping in the 2nd area with 3 spawning spots. finished with masters in 30:55mins. It was nice that the NPCs for the local side didnt die =)
