Good: Playing through Pre-Searing alone.
Bad: Folks getting runs to everywhere in the game. Most folks don't even bother playing through the game anymore.

Good: Hmm, that's hard. I can not really think of any one real instant that stands out in prophecies. I guess if I had to say, the first time I heard one of the Krytan songs - just wonderful. It fit the scenery so well.
Bad: Never did care that nearly all the really good elites were RoF only and random spawn. Really needed some more good ones earlier to fit the game pace. There are still elites there I need to cap.
Prophecies is one of my favorite games of all times, mostly because the "bad" isn't really bad at all. I found both Factions and Nightfall to have higher higs and lower lows. I never found one real "wow!" moment in the game, just a whole bunch of "really neat!".

Good : Best for me was that Prophecies had a great story to tell. If you took the time to do some more exploring than just running through the game and skipping the little quests you missed out on a LOT of very good scenery as well as a good number of funny moments. Not to mention all the small real life things that the devs put into the game
Bad : Maguuma Jungle, it was a fairly nice place to visit but it seemed like it was just there, no real purpose to it all. Other bad, visiting the desert on my mesmer lately and not getting a SINGLE group even with people just standing around doing nothing

Bad: Ascalon...Post Searing. All of it. The landscape, enemies, music, it's all so depressing!
Good: Mursaat. Some of my favourite enemies in all of GW.

Thanks but I wasn't asking for help. We are just remembering things about Prophecies from the first time we played through. I doubt any of us had a group of level 20s helping us through this quest the first time(provided you bought the game within a month or so of release).
That quest is one of, if not the, hardest and longest quests in all 3 campaigns. Relative to where your character is at in the game when you do it(around lvl15).

Good thing about Prophecies: Northern Shiverpeaks. It's just soooo beauuuuutiful
Bad thing about Proph: Crystal Desert. IT IS SO BORING AND UGLY! The Doppelganger is only good thing at Crystal Desert.

The Desert wasn't the best place out there but it actually did fit into the storyline rather well. Also there were quite a few good sites out in the desert waiting to be discovered.
The thing about the desert is that it reflects a once great empire that was lost to the sands, but those darn pop-ups did drive me insane

Good: Pretty much everything except the poisonous spiders. I hate that. >.< And for something in particular, coming back to low level areas and disintegrating the enemies. Good for my soul.
Bad: Lack of people in most places. Impossible to find parties for the titan quests. Thank Melandru I'm making friends who are willing to waste a weekend on them ^_^
And after seeing Factions, Proph >>>> Factions.

Oh, Tyria.
Good: The sense of satisfaction I got from walking (not running) from Camp Rankor to Beacon's Perch. Killed every enemy, explored almost every little inch of it. Took me three hours or so.
"Hey man what are you doing"
"I AM STANDING IN A COMPLETELY EMPTY SNAKE DANCE"
Bad: Post-searing Ascalon. Seriously. The Charr are pretty awesome, but that place is just so ugly.

Good:
Fishermans Haven, still the best place in all chapters...
Bad:
Seeing the price of black dye when first arriving in post-searing ascalon... (and realizing... you get the picture)

Good: The various sights in prophecies. Most notable were seeing the Shiverpeaks for the first time and in Gates of Kryta when you get to the beach area. I took so many screenshots of that. Also, Maguuma looked pretty neat and I really liked the Mursaat.
Bad: Lack of quests in the Southern Shiverpeaks (not counting Sorrows Furnace) and Ring of Fire. There really should be some more quests in these two areas.

Good: Exploring everywhere, even though Tyria didn't have all the pretty graphics updates of the later chapters, was still the most impressive scenery of all 3 Chapters.
Also being a newb during the WPE was fun, not knowing what attribute points were, and therefore going around shooting everything but doing no damage.
Bad: Agree with the Tengu/Avicara badness. Also, Devourers of any kind. They aren't hard to kill or anything, they just pop up to slow you down which sucks.

Good: as the sole monk, being thanked by all party members when we finished THK mission with no DP on anyone. An all-time high.
Bad: being flamed and cursed (NOOB!!!!), as one of two monks, for a party wipe during Ring of Fire mission, when the 'leader' decided we should go the long way round (through the lava etc). Almost made me quit monking.

Good: All those nice little beautifull things around the continent, specially in areas out of mission and quest path.
Bad: Edge of the world in the area above Ice Caves of Sorrow. Well, it's not that bad, but it's not what it should have been according to my map.

Good: Right after I left pre for the first time, I was sitting in ascalon with my boyfriend, who had also just left pre for the first time. He told me to look at the map and I was like "0_O OMG SO BIG!!!" I was excited.
Bad: Thunderhead Keep. Ugh. UGH!!! It was so hard before Heros. And finding an actual party is still hell.
