Default Sulfurous Wastes - Vanquishing Glitch?

Leaving the Remains of Sahlahja to the SE into the Sulfurous Wastes, if you hug the wall to the right you soon pass through a golden arch where there is a valley path through cliffs on both sides. There are groups of Margonites on both cliffs. You can access the left cliffs from a point behind them, but there is no way to actually GO UP ONTO the right cliffs (aside from necrotic/consume, which I don't have on any chars in this run atm). One Margonite patrol does not come down far enough to aggro either with Wurms or from the opposite cliff. The picture shows the patrol's farthest point of travel toward my party.

Anyone have any ideas or am I just stuck with restarting and bringing necrotic/consume?

Thx, JD

Actually, there is a nice bridge you can create by knocking down a column using Worm Seige; of course, you may have already cleared those you could target for the seige to hit. You might also be able to time a worm sprint to end right on the column.

Hey Dwaffy - thanks for the reply - I can't seige the column down because you can't click on it, unlike the monolith in Alkali Pan leading to the Ruins of Morah. Wiki says you can knock it down with Junundu SMASH, but I have no foes left nearby to build up adrenaline, and the KD done by tunneling doesn't seem to do anything to it. So I guess I'm left with a restart and consume/necrotic.

Thanks, JD

We just had this issue last night. You don't click on it, you smash next to it, from below.

Here's how we did it:

One person in a wurm, everyone else up on the cliff next to the pillar. The wurm aggros the Margonites opposite with the aggro circle. Monks, standing on the ledge opposite the Margonites, healing the wurm volunteer.

Eventually wurm gets enough adrenaline by hitting Margonites with regular attacks, then tunnels next to the column and smashes. Voila, bridge.

The way i did it is that there's a mob that patrols near the column, they will come close enough for you to aggro them in a wurm. So just flag your henchies back, aggro the group (for me they always seems to be ranged) so i pull back till theyre at the column, build up adrenaline then tunnelled to smash.

... I've killed everything before I realized I can't get over there. There was nothing more to kill. Had to kill 2 heroes by sending them to the wastes, then made Olias raise minons from their corpses, killed Olias to make minions hostile, killed minions with my wurm gaining adren, smashed the pillar... it was a hard combination to perform but it worked -
