I've been using myself (Dom. Mes), Zhed as nuker, Dunkor for heals, and Olias as MM. for areas south of the Wall. The only place I've had a problem was with those darn Grawl outside Ruins of Surmia - gonna give them another go today (I think they made did some HM balancing with this last update, but it could be just me).
North of the Wall, I've started out of Yak's Bend adding Stephen and Orion (for enterainment value - LOL) to the party. I haven't gotten the Breach or Diessa Lowlands done yet, but I did get Ascalon Foothills, Flame Temple Corridor, and Dragon's Gullet without too much difficulty.

I've found the 4 man areas to be the easiest to vanquish, this is the build I've been using:
[skill]auspicious parry[/skill][skill]dismember[/skill][skill]executioner's strike[/skill][skill]agonizing chop[/skill][skill]healing signet[/skill][skill]"watch yourself!"[/skill][skill]signet of malice[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]
[skill]spiteful spirit[/skill][skill]enfeebling blood[/skill][skill]parasitic bond[/skill][skill]insidious parasite[/skill][skill]signet of lost souls[/skill][skill]holy veil[/skill][skill]blood ritual[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]
[skill]hex eater vortex[/skill][skill]power drain[/skill][skill]leech signet[/skill][skill]wastrel's demise[/skill][skill]shatter enchantment[/skill][skill]drain enchantment[/skill][skill]energy burn[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]
[skill]zealous benediction[/skill][skill]dismiss condition[/skill][skill]guardian[/skill][skill]shield of absorption[/skill][skill]protective spirit[/skill][skill]blessed signet[/skill][skill]life bond[/skill][skill]balthazar's spirit[/skill]

Nothing quite beats the infinite power of suicide hexes when it comes to 4man areas. Combines offence with defence and makes everything kill itself. Only hard part i've had was killing Grawl Ulodytes in Eastern Frontier and they were more hit n miss depending on my interrupts.

Only one problem I can see. Doesn't weakness make them attack slower? Wouldn't that be counterproductive to [skill]spiteful spirit[/skill] and [skill]insidious parasite[/skill]?

I tried several variants, but what worked best for me was:
Myself as a heavy damage dealing warrior
Two monks, one SoR and the other LoD
And a supporting warrior.
It might have been slow going, but I managed it.

Drop the mesmer for you on an interrupts/degen build such as BA, and take a bonder hero.
