This seems like the good topic for posting my question.
I am just starting with my new charater and i wanna have the Canthan Grandmaster Cartographer (100%) title on it.
But i can't seem to clear the red cloud i circeled on the attached image ... i walked around that mountain for 6 times, when in eatch corner i could but i doesent go away.
So could someone give me a tip or some advice pls!

That spot can't be uncovered, I have 100% and it's not uncovered on my map either, as livingston put in his guide, only worry about the stuff you can uncover.

As I posted Livingston's thread, in the directions to the spots, the "mountain spot" west of Tsumei Village cannot be cleared completely. You should be comparing your map to Leighwyn's 100% map instead of whatever map that image came from.
Incidentally, where did you get that image? It seems there's a bit of fog SW of Kaineng Center on it, but the "mountain spot" is clear. I'd like to know how that is possible

I started to compare your maps, but you are simply missing so many spots that it would be a waste of time on my part.
Please read this Thread and compare to my maps, use Leighwyn's method to find the ones you are missing (which is most of them), and use Shyft's directions on how to get to those spots.
You need most of the spots that are marked on my maps, so if I did take the time to list out the one's that you are missing, it would look like I was simply making a list of all the spots that I already have listed on the other thread.
So give that a go first, then come back once you have exhausted that resource.

Congratulations to moefugger01 and chugaboy.
I love seeing how people choose to do their 100% screenshots, the postures, locations, etc.

If you truly can't see the differences between your maps and mine at the spots I have marked, then let me know and I will post a few of the numbers from Shing Jea so you can try to compare again, and pick up the differences.

I actually thought you were going to have a read of my thread, find some more areas, and then repost your maps, as I saw how many spots you were missing. However, I went back and reread your post, and I see that you have problems with your vision, so if you can't see the difference in the following spots, you'll just have to trust me and hug the walls extremely well in all these spots:
Shing Jea
11
19 And all below 19 (I would recommend rehugging that entire eastern wall)
20
24
SE of 24 - The dark spot in the middle of the mountain.
You've cut off the NE corner in the water areas, so I can't check them.
Kaineng
Not sure about 4 & 5 as your screenshots are a bit blurry. Everything else I'm positive about, if I'm not, I will mark it as such.
7
8
9
10
West of 10
11
West of 11
12 West Side
13
14
15
16 (Not sure because of the blurriness)
17 (too blurry to check)
20
You don't have the far south east side of Kaineng shown so I can't check it.
Mount Qinkai
1
2
3
All along the wall under 3
4
5
6 (Not sure for the blur)
7 (the very west side of the circle)
8
9
11
14
17
18
Between 17 & 19
19
Unwaking Waters
North of 6
11 (Can't tell due to Luxon/Kurzick line)
North East of 13 - All along the western edge of Silent Surf
19 (Can't tell due to Luxon/Kurzick line)
Luxon
3
5
10 (There is a tiny island that will appear there when fully uncovered)

Hi; I think I need help finally
I'm at 99.4%, but have never set foot in Jade Quarry, so I'm pretty much (since I hear that's 0.5%) at 99.9%
This seems to be the only spot that I can't match up with the 100% map, and I've approached it from Shenzun Tunnels as well as from inside the Viz Square mission, I just can't seem to get it.
http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/2985/gw752qp1.jpg
I believe I should have it looking like
http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/3228/completeon4.jpg
(I may be missing area 20 in the shot I took, but I do have it now).
Other than this, my map seems complete (and of course Jade Quarry). How do I get this area clear? I have hugged the interior of Vizunah back and forth, trying to get it. I've done the north wall of Shenzun 3 times now, I don't know how to get that corner clear. I also haven't been able to get into Viz local, which may clear a bit?

You don't.
Canthan map includes annoying areas of unclearable fog like the "mountain spot" west of Tsumei Village. I can't see any difference between the two screenshots you've provided ("missing" and "ideal"), so I'd say it's as clear as it can get.
Your best bet now is to post your "U" maps and have someone compare them with the ALT+TAB method to find the bits and pieces that you've missed when checking them.

I had the same thing as you yesterday, you wont be able to clearily unfog it but you can still unfog it more than the way it is right now.
Just exit Tsumei village from the west exit and hug the northern wall after the exit. Walk abit and the black clouds should clear.
You should still see some fog but not as much as it is in your map now.

Epinephrine: That spot you were circling (well, sort of it) I have never been able to get as well...such is life heh. I just ignore it now
As for other spots you're missing...
Kaineng: 7, 19, unmarked spot in nahpui (the blackness just east of the town, a shadowy bit outside the playable area)
Qinkai: part of 4, slightly east of 11 (but still in arborstone explorable), 16 (watch cinematic)
Unwaking: 8
Shing Jea: 19, spot at river sourch in Lagoon (the snowy white mountain stuff, there is fog in a spot between lagoon and daijun)
Compared to everyone else who asks for help, your map was very nicely complete, great job! You WILL need Jade Quarry (clearly you're tyrian, and I'm 98% sure there is no tyrian out there with 100% who has never entered it), but at least you can get even closer to 100% while you wait heh

How would u unfog this little area here.
(my map)
Compared with Livinsgton's map, I see that mine has a bit of fog in this area.

You get that spot inside the outpost. There is a little corner you need to hit near the shrines.
I've added a section in the third post of my thread where Shyft has given directions on how to reach each point circled on my maps.
To Leighwyn: I believe Tyrians might be able to skip quarry if they got the outlook during the Dragonfest, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
In any case there's no reason not to get it.

Yeah, a couple of guys in the guild got 100% without jade quarry.
They mapped the area during the dragon festival.
Thanks for the tip about zin ku, I now have the small area unfogged.
BTW, how much the % the Jade Quarry gives?

I think I've heard people get roughly .4% from it.

Thanks, I've picked up another 0.1% so far, maybe the last ones will give another 0.1% or so; then as you said, just waiting I just wish I had done the Dragon Festival stuff :P
