Boss paradox
Ok im slightly confused(as ia am mostly)
Anet makes a contest to name Gwen bosses right
But there are no new elite skills
and very few core skills
so how few bosses and repeat bosses is Gwen going to have Or bosses without elite skills?

Why do core skills matter? Every campaign's skills will be used on bosses, as every campaign is connected to this.

The problem comes with Signet of Capture, though. If you only own Prophecies, for instance, and try to cap from a boss with an Elite from Factions or Nightfall, what happens?

If you own GWEN and cap an elite skill that originated in a previous game but is now in GWEN too then it's yours.

IIRC, you capture the skill, but it is 'locked' and you cannot use it.

This has happend before, you can capture Double Dragon in Nightfall, and if you do not own Factions then Double Dragon becomes locked, and when you buy Factions you can use it.
It's not a problem.

No. There are 100 new skills, not counting PvE-only skills, and they are all normal non-elites. There is 10 per class, though.

well the big end of dungeon or whatever bosses are going to end up with monster skills most likely. Maybe like the ones you could bring up on the load skill list screen before it was deleted.
but otherwise it won't really matter imo you need 1 campaign to play this game anyway so I'd say it'd be okay to have a mix of all the skills for the bosses.

I think they meant bosses at the end of the dungeons. Mallyx is a boss, and you cant cap jack from him.

Hang on a sec, we were shown 100 non-elites from a total of 150 new skills. So whats with the missing 50? If you divide that up that would mean 5 new elites for each class if the missing 50 are elite skills, and if they are not then what are they, PvP exclusives?

Yeah, there are 50 PvE-only skills. Some of those may be elites, but they will still be PvE-only.
