I recall that is was stated that anything "put into" the HoM would still be available for our characters to use in GW1... nothing goes away.

Why would you?

Eventually, and rather quickly, through normal playing your heros pets would all be level 20.

It's a fair question. We get monuments for heroes. We get monuments for Pets.

Getting Monuments for Hero pets would be a great way to collect more pets without having to lose our current one.

The answer is, of course, we don't know how Pet monuments work.

I may have misunderstood his question. It thought he was asking if you would get a monument for having heros pets hit level 20, not for the variety or the evolution attained.

I hope the HoM would be much more precise than just having the pets reach level 20 regardless of evolution or species.

That doesn't really seem very "monumental".

Ahh, yes. I agree the issue of whether Hero Pets would be recorded at all is more of an issue than the level.

I hope not only level 20 pets are recorded, that could make it very hard to complete a set of Pets.

i wouldn't start recrafting ANYTHING until you actually know what benefit having all these armors will give you. i don't mean to sound pessimistic but it may be a disappointment, or just not what you expected.
i wish i hadn't salvaged a few 15k sets now, but i'm certainly not shelling out a ton of gold to get them back on a "i hope it'll be cool" bonus later.
