GWEN Hall of monuments (E3 info)
So what i get from the vids is that the hall of monuments will contain 5 monuments
1. Unlocked weapons
2. Unlocked ascended armors
3. Unlocked titles
4. Unlocked Hero's, high-level pets
5. Minipets
Most seem to be straightforward as to what it means.
I am just wondering which weapons can be unlocked for the hall.
Also i hope the unlocked ascended armors will work like the festival hats.
That you can delete them and recreate later for a very small fee. I would hate to have to store all ascended armors for all professions.
And then off course the million dollar questions.
What will each of these achievements unlock for GW2?

My guess is you acquire it and "unlock" it in the hall of accomplishments, and you can then delete the armor afterward if you like. It won't let you recreate the armor in GW, but it should keep whatever unlock in GW2 open.

Some views in no order
YEY pet collectors get pay off (i mean pets AND minis)
I have all heroes unlocked so that ones sorted
May have to recap Black Widow and such so it counts but thats not hard
I would guess unlocked weapons are like the skins you have unlocked, You pick up a Chaos Axe - That is "unlocked", and yes the servers can tell soon as you pick an item up as the Golden Eggs were Treasure Hunter items
I hope the weapon "unlocks" work like that so it isn't just a PvP'er Skins area
Acended Armors is a gold sink to get people to buy every set
I was quite pleased with the HoM (Hall of Monuments) i saw but didn't the "monuments" seem small? more like Hall of Trophies

I would imagine it only unlocks the more expensive skins, like Tormented and such?

The monuments were indeed really small and at the hero/pet monument the commentator said it could be customised as to what you wanted to show.
All that made me think it is more worthwhile to unlock weapons and armors than it is to max titles. Maybe the connected unlocks in GW2 will change that thought though
Anxiously awaiting more info

yeah...I was a bit underwhelmed by them...I'm hoping that the area with the trophies is the area that lets you control what is displayed (they said that was possible in the vid)...and the larger area is where the actual monuments are displayed. The first time they were in the hall of monuments it seemed a lot larger...the second time with the 5 distinct areas was considerably smaller. I think perhaps the smaller area is like a second level or something.

I was kind of hoping for a statue of myself in the middle, striking a heroic pose kitted out in my favourite armor and weapons.....

I'm confused about something. So when you get your little trophy in the Hall of Monuments, it unlocks something in GW2. But...
I have one character from each profession. So if I drag all of them up to the Hall of Monuments, and unlock things for each character, then in GW2 I start up just one character, or maybe two or three...is that character going to have to pick which of my GW1 character's halls she can get unlocks from? Or will she have access to multiple halls?

I'm pretty sure they said when you make a new character you can have them tied to one of your old characters from GW1, not an account wide thing. But I could be mistaking.

I think the Hall of Monuments looks nice. Atleast for people who love titles get something for all their acomplishments. For me, I never was one who got into the title thing but I am glad to see for those who are get something out of the deal.

Seconded... Although there are always a few titles that even we like to get, even though we don't push for them, like protector, etc... so we'll benefit too

There was a lot of information and discussion when we were first told about the hall that implied you would inherit the achievements of one of your GW1 characters, i.e. not account wide. Of course that could have changed by now.
