I have finished NF and have 100% cartographer, he says the same thing whether done or not (in all 4 known locations)

I'm keeping an eye out in other zones on Istan and also the mainland for Bahltek.

Just wondering if Bahltek is another Lore forum poster (similar to gwonline and the Holdings of Chokhin) who has been added to the game.

it's a possibility we can't discount. i guess unless we find another sighting, or at least a mentioning of him, on the mainland, this'll be a mystery until ANET gives us more or chp 4 comes out. I'm talking to every npc i see in the realm of torment to see if maybe a lost soul might mention him

Yea, Carinae has beaten NF.

I even went out and checked out this guy: Mehkun. He doesn't do anything at all.

i have a question, is bahltek always looking towards water since his speech has some references to water, maybe its of some importance hinting towards something watery.

I like things like this that Anet put in. Little things that cause lots of disscussion. Makes it more fun. Haven't tried visiting this bloke yet, might give it a shot.

I found this guy as well and figured that I missed whatever quest he was supposed to lead me to. I personally like it that not every NPC has a purpose... ;0

/shrugs. Carinae has done every quest in Prophecies, Factions and has only 6 left in all of NF. So, it is't an issue of finishing some basic quest.

Now maybe I missed one (doubt it, but possible) or there is a more complex trigger mechanism....

well, referring to the map that was posted on the previous page (i can't remember who >_o) he's looking at water 3/4 times. the only time he isn't is apparently in fara..farahnur..whatever city.

and yes, i like these little..well little eggs in the game ^_^ i've never really paid much attention or questioned these things much but I'm glad I helped start something. I'm now talking to every npc i can see to see if there is any hint.

Yeah the spawns are really random, I tried finding him on my sin with no luck either. It's really annoying >_< it was pure chance that I found him on my monk again

FYI: having Razah doesn't change Bahltek's message, at least in Zehlon reach.

Nor does he change what the suspicous hermit does.

this is insane. does anybody know if any mentioning of anything similar to what bahltek says or maybe bahltek himself in any of the other campaigns, particularly tyria? or mabye in UW or FOW?

lol it said on guild wiki that he doesnt always spawn and hes talking about this mage ordon who went into the rift 0_o

yep that's unfortunately the case, which just adds more mystery to it, and a little annoying to try and find him. Still have yet to hear any sighting or a mentioning of him on the mainland
