Where do you report a scam when ANet is doing the scamming?
Prices for GW:EN in the GW store are
US $4.99
EU €4.99
UK £3.49
In Dollars that equates to:
US $4.99
EU $6.80
UK $7.02
Why can’t we be charged equally!! And it would be very easy to do, just charge us in dollars (or give us the option to pay in dollars!!)

This is the same with EVERY product. Games or otherwise.
Let's not go into the details, but Europeans pay taxes on everything they buy. Americans don't. If you think it's unfair, try complaining about Amazon charging $20 more in Europe for the same DVD box set, etc.

you know it was kind of interesting that while my family was in England, they bought burgers that would be regularly $2.50 in the U.S.... Guess how much it was? £2.50! which equates to close to $5!!! OMG! Do you think this could be due to difference in economies??? Or should we sue the sandwich shop for scamming tourists?!? Let's face it...it doesn't just come down to how much a dollar equates to another country's currency. There's tons of other factors coming in to play. So there.

Vote with your wallet, if you feel that strongly. It's also worth noting that they have yet to add a price to buy GW:EN in the online store. Waiting until it's too late for us to order elsewhere, I wonder?

It's a PREORDER. Anet doesn't expect as many Europeans to purchase the game from the online store, even if that's where they got the preorder. Don't bitch about the price unless the price of GW:EN is different for each region, excluding whatever tax or other fees apply.

Ehm.. taxes? (oh just read the guy above)
And prices on things have always been different in different countries, since it is tied to you average income/inflation. It is just that people in europe earn more money then ppl in US, so they have more money to spend as well.

QFT
it has more to do with international economics than it does with the companies selling the products. You guys need to blame your government or move to another country, not blame Arena Net.

In what way is stating exactly what the price is in all three regions a scam?
And from the looks of things the minimum wage for adults in the UK is much higher than that in America, which kind of justifies this. If you exaggerate then it would be quite unfair if it cost an entire year's wages in one country and about 1 hour's wages in another...

Well... in Spain, you can get the pre-Order from a shop franchise called 'Game'.
The price was 3€, and when I buy GW:EN they will discount it from the price, so the price turned to 0€.
Online shop is good for some things... but sometmes looking for an offer may prove more useful.
