The Star of Transfer is weird.. i mean skill points hardly matter at this point but... if it cost a skill point to buy them...? I'm confused.. oh well I'm still waiting till some crazy person gets the armor so I can see it After playing through a little bit though I have to say i'm excited and please.

Star of Transference wouldn't be abused.
So your monk has 300 skill points he won't use - by these and give to your new necro - walla - transference complete.

Skill point transfer doesn't make much sense, when you can get skill tomes for cheap. Only reasons would be that the skill isn't unlocked yet or you need points for a survivor elite skill capping spree.

Transfer from one character to another. 55 monks to other characters comes to mind.

I'm assuming the star is an item and as an item, can be traded between other characters.

Sunspear skills need skill points and you cannot get them through tomes. Elite tomes tend to cost a lot and they don't give you exp.

tbh most people (other than survivors)care about what exp they have so an elite tome wudnt bother them
and also 10k isnt really lots of money

I really wish I read beyond that nice health boost. Scroll of res too? I think I'm in love. I needed that earlier desperately.

multiple elite tomes at 10k each is a lot of money. Remember that a while back they had a database query and most players had <20k in storage.

I don't get why you guys are freaking out about skill points? Doesn't everyone have several hundred spare skill points? Everyone I play with does. Skill points seem to me to be a totally worthless commodity. So what's the issue that is concerning you guys about skilll points?

Fight a Norn at a res shrine, then talk to them to get a blessing.
After 50kills talk to another shrine Norn for an additional multiplier
...kill another 50 and talk to another Norn
...etc.
Save up some shrine Norns until you are done with your killing in the zone and at the end talk to the remaining Norn for extra bonus points.
