Vekk's AI sucks.
I give him exactly the same build that I've been quite contentedly running Zhed Shadowhoof with for ages... and he can't manage his energy anything like as well. He tends to die more frequently than either Sousuke or Zhed...
Even when I gave him the "Special Needs" build consisting of Fire Attunement, Glyph of Lesser Energy and a selection of 15 energy spells (best energy-return from Attunement and GoLE) he STILL manages to expire his energy in a heartbeat.
Is this just coincidence or have the Eye of the North heroes genuinely got different AI to the Nightfall heroes?

My Vekk is always running within melee range of enemies to attack them (with his staff).. though, Zhed always did this also for some reason -_-;;

AI does seem a little different, but who knows, maybe I'm just imagining it. For me it's more the henchies than heros though. (Devona and Talon seem to enjoy leeroying even more than usual >.> )

Ive had problems with all of my heroes/hench in the far shiverpeaks. They seem to all stop moving for a while, whilst i charge in and begin firing off some spears at a lvl 28 target. I have to flag them up to me or else they wont move.
Thankfully this doesnt happen all the time, maybe they're getting stuck on things.
Anyway, i find Vekks AI to be fine apart from this. Much better than my Zheds, who would often just stand and try to tank. Very strange.. four legs.

distilledwill - Finally, someone else with this problem. they are following me, then the all just stop, in the middle of nowhere, I don't notice cause I haven't flagged them and I end up dead. Then I have to flag and unflag them to come to me.

Yes, now that you reminded me, I've seen that happen too...where the Heros/Hench just stop.
There was also a time where my party wiped...all but Mhenlo and Herta....Mhenlo refused to res any of us...that noob. -_-

Vekk Works Great for me. I run me a warrior dev hammer, Vek a sh, souseke a Mind Blast supporter, zhed a shatterstone, cynn, lina and menhlo, and Usually devona, or a warrior friend running dev too. We have pretty much owned everything we have came against including dungeouns. Vekk has never given me problems. and the dwarf heals better then dunkoro. I do however have a problem with jora running into everything she can, and then just standing there lol

I really have not notice a diference with Vekk and Zhed, except their apparent size. There maybe a change in the way heroes follow in general that seems that way.
I have him run a searing flames and Mark of Rodgorts build while I run a Barrage Ranger with fiery bow. Add Olaf with a Boon healer build and Gwen with Energy Surge and lots of interrupts (the Hero AI for skill interrupts is awesome) and we kick major !@#$.

Other than Vekk not being able to dance , I've had one or two problems. One is that he used to run into combat range, but since I took Flame Djinn's Haste of he doesn't seem to do it. Also the fact the seems to die a lot, but I get that with ogden as well.
Also he seems to forget to re cast fire attunement sometimes, but have noticed that with other ele heroes

I gave him a Glimmering Mark buld and he uses it perfectly.
What I foumnd is that heroes NEVER use eye of the north skills. EVER.

yes i had big problems with hench...they stop and aggro everyone ...i hope they will fix this problem...about interrupters...hehe my Broad Head Arrow Jin locked on a boss or a badass foe shuts him down completely XD

I've been running SF on myself, Zekk, Sousuke and Zhed (and enjoying the burnnating mightily, if I might add) and still have more trouble with Sousuke standing in the middle of attacks then Zekk.
Occasionally Zekk will stand around and let guys swing at him, but not too often. Zhed is the smartest by far, as I've seen him actually kite around a battle.

My Vekk is running his fire build fine. He manages his energy very well, I've never seen it drop below 55e (his total is 78)

The new derv hero(can't recall name) didn't bother to put up VoS before charging into a mob of ele's, I don't wanna be constantly maintaining them, they should have a somewhat decent AI.
Btw, I always found Zhed retarded and had to lock Meteor Shower so he didnt use it on 1 guy, but I can actually trust Vekk w/o locking it, he always seems to wait for a mob of 4-5+ guys.

he refuses to use invoke lightning, even when he's enchanted.
not to mention i've seen him try to blind spirits while he was getting bashed by melee enemies.
his voice rocks, but he's out of my teams and ain't coming back

That's what I brought him along for too and he wouldn't do it. He also kept spamming blinding flash, but usually not on the melees that were beating the hell out of him.
Basically, everytime I bring Vekk, he just soaks up all the healers attention, runs around so I can't get to the melee mobs, and dies.
Vekk is an idiot and I wish you could push your heroes off a cliff :\

I think there's some tweaking still to be done. Jora was doing some funny things as well. I have a feeling that there may be some pathing issues that are causing the weirdness.
