This is odd. As expected, the GW:EN skills I'd acquired over the weekend now have a "locked" symbol over them. But what's strange is that other non-GW:EN campaign-specific skills seem to also be locked unless I'm playing that particular campaign. Take the Sunspear skills, for example: I loaded the whirly blade Sunspear skill onto my W while in the Prophecies campaign only to find that the skill was locked.

Is this a glitch? Or have campaign-specific skills always been locked outside of their campaign? (Which is exceptionally goofy if that is indeed the case.) I could've sworn I'd used the Sunspear skill while going through Factions over the past few weeks, and I definitely don't recognize the locked icon, so I think something goofy's happened with the preview weekend.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Whirlwind wasn't locked for me as of about 8 hours ago. And I was in ascalon, then LA then ran some newb to d'alessio. Had whirlwind and the sunspear res in and out of my bar.

Huh... Next time I'm playing I'll go back in and research it again. Maybe it was just a one-time hiccup.

Not on topic, but has anyone noticed the number of people in LA asking for a run to the "next mission". Not to SC, but to d'alessio. You could probably run it yourself with a lvl7. Its like 2 minutes. Weird.

if you were in a pvp outpost then any pve skills would be locked

You're limited to 3 PVE-Only skills now. Is it possible you already have 3 on your bar, which is why this one is now locked out?

My whirlwind was locked too right after the event, but when I removed it, logged out, logged back in, and reequipped the skill it was fine.

You're absolutely right. I had the glitch of not being able to add a third hero after the preview weekend because I had Jora in my party when the weekend expired– so I took someone's suggestion and zoned to the Random Arenas area to "unlock" that third slot again.

What I was seeing was indeed the PvE skill being locked because I was in a PvP environment. I haven't really ever PvPed so the locked icon was new to me, and figured it was a bug from GW:EN because of the GW:EN skills being locked with that same icon.
