I just completed the Norn primary quest and I now have a 'skill' on me whenever I'm not at the Eye of the North Itself: 'Call of the Eye: Skill. You feel the Eye of the North calling you'.

Any ideas on what to do?

I've seen this in quite a few screen shots recently, so it's definitely not a joke.

yea ive got it 2, i went to to eye of the north, and checked out the scrying pool, and it just lets u get the quests for the 3 dungeons u have to go in again

Seriously though, I don't think its a LotR pun, my guess is that its to continue the game once unlocked next weekend. If I go into the HoM the Scrying pool has the green down arrow as if to continue a quest, but there are no continuation options. Again my guess is you are pulled to the eye to see the next vision, which will prompt you to either go to the Asura or Vanguard zones.

Unless someone else knows what it is for.

You are probably supposed to get another vision from the HoM water pool (it has an exclamation mark above it). Unfortunately the story can't progress until release.

(a bit late since the preview is over).....
but I had the same thing on me. Tried going to the pool, didnt do a ting for me. Still had it on me when i got booted out of the area. I dont think it has to do with an easy way back to (pre) opened areas, because not all the people i ran with got that. I just wonder if we will have it again come friday...

I had it also, but I noticed it only when I had a completed quest in my log. Was thinking it was a call back to collect my reward.

The scrying pool has an exclamation over it. Seems fairly obvious that we're supposed to get another vision, that just isn't available in the preview. Go back once the game goes live and it will probably happen. It's just a way to make sure you go back to get the visions, otherwise it would be fairly easy to miss them.

I still have the call of the eye on me even after the the preview ended ...
since i bring my pve toons into pve I had good fun in announcing to my fellow guildies "I have the call of the eye on me!" in Hall of Heroes yesterday. A bit annoying if you want to check the stacks of hexes and conditions, but hey ... nothing to serious here since I identify most of em by sound. Didn't even bother to post a bug ticket...

TRUE....dont forget that a marketing director has been hired recently by Anet.....and this person has to justify the salary he gets every month

I have it as well, but I would have bought GWEN even if I didnt had it LOL

Has no one seen the naked picture of Jora and the buy now logo that flashes for 0.0003 seconds every hour?

I have a funny feeling the Eye of the North will corrupt most of mankind setting the stage for GW2.
