Will GWEN be released in the Ingame store the second it goes live? Because I have no way of getting to the mall that day.

That's how it was with nf(im assuming, i didn't buy from online store). But nf came out a day early at my EB games. Even though i didnt pick it up till release day, i could have picked it up the day before.

Presumably, yes. However if I remember correctly there was some difficulty with the store and game crashing during the first 24-48 hours due to an overload of purchases (and just general players).

Which makes me hope it will be available from the online store by Thursday. It will lessen the server load, and i dont want to have release day full of crashes like the preview was for me.(till i lowered my graphics quality)

That would make sense Neo, but I doubt they will release it before the servers go live - tbh I don't think things like this occur to them (no offence intended to Anet staff, just that they seem somewhat obtuse in regards to the HUGE influx of players at release).

It took me nearly two hours to load the mini-mission to get to EotN and I'm suppose to be on a high-speed connection. I'm some distance from the nearest distro/game server so I have very low priority when it comes to downloads. For this reason I'd had GW on all day I'm surprised there wasn't already a substantial proportion of the content already downloaded - but for whatever reason it seemed only to download once the preview went live.

Hey this is kinda off subject but i pre-ordered EotN, so what happens when the game comes out and the servers go live? Do i have the pay the full $40 for the game? What happens?

Depends where you preordered it from.

In game store - if u paid in the in game store (or plaync store) and buy the final game there the $5 preorder counts towards your purchase lowering the cost to $35

Most stores follow the same pattern. Smaller stores (Gamestop) usually keep preorders in a system that allows them to look it up. - bigger ones otoh (best buy) require the reciept to be shown.

If you buy the preorder in 1 place and the game in another you will have to pay the entire 40 and get no discount for the preorder.

I bought NF the day it was released via the online store and I had no problems. I don't recall any store crashes, but maybe I was in early. I recall it being pretty instantaneous. Paid and played.
