There could be other reasons for hair changes.
Some hairstyles have glitches, I can show a picture of a glitch that occurs with an elonian warrior I created some time ago (will do this later).
A hairstylist could allow you to change that hairstyle to a non glitched one, as I see very difficult that A.net will correct the glitch ... In this case the hairstylist would be useful to repair a mistake of the developers ...

Exactly the problem I have with my Tyrian ranger's hair. Which is the only hair I'd really like to change, btw. My other characters are fine as they are.

If GW:EN had a hairstylist, I would buy the expansion from the in-game store as I type. As it is now, I'm still on the wall.

The thing about a re-roll is that there's a huge amount of time dedicated to a character in the form of skills and armors. I sure can't afford all that again.
And as funny as it may sound to some people, there's a certain attachment to a character you've played with for two years or more. I've never realized why some people consider a simple addition like changing a hairstyle to be so game-breakingly wrong it can't possibly be added in the game.

That's your perspective, not everyone's in this thread.

Well I would agree with fixing the hall before making this. But NOT with dealing with GW2 before making this. Why? Theres still muuuuuuch time to go until people manage to grind all that titles. They have all the time in the world left.

Oh jeez another entitlement junkie. Listen, if you have slaved for 6,721 hours to get all that leet uber gear you have, then good for you. That is no basis for insisting that everyone else spend 6,721 hours in the game too. If you have the lack of anything else to do so you have all kind of time to spend on this game, and remember that at some point a mere few years from now they will pull the plug and all your time and work will go up in a *poof* of smoke, then awesome. No regrets, right?
Seriously, there are many many playstyles, from the entitlement end where you are, to the casual beer and pretzels where I am. A hairstylist will not ruin your game experience because you can choose not to use them. For just about every other poster in this thread, it would benefit them to be able to tweak their character without any benefit to their game - just cosmetic.
ANet should not cater to either your playstyle or mine, we are at opposite ends of the spectrum. They should try and cater to the middle ground.
Thanks!

I want a hair stylist for my heroes. Ya know...Koss had a bad hair day right when Nightfall came out and he's had to live with it ever since. Poor guy...

Maybe THIS is what the new expansion missions are going to be about (the ones you have to spend so much in the online store to get)...they're missions to
1. save a hair stylist from peril (thus unlocking him)
2. save a hero hair stylist from peril
3. save ...someone else...heh

I lol'd at this.
Personally I think (and hope) there will be some sort of make-over npc(s) in GW:EN. But maybe it won't be added right away, because for the time being they'll have their hands full fixing bugs and stuff like the HoM.

I really think they should add this, and heres how I think they should do it:
Hairstylist in tyria, with Prophecies hair.
Hairstylist in cantha, with Factions hair.
And so on. And add one for EOTN, with all new hairstyles.
