Sorry, wrong thread for this. I can pm you why you're entirely wrong if you like, but while you're in this thread please try to keep your focus.

As for those complaining about grinding for armor, consider this: I'm assuming from what I've seen so far that the title needed for armor will easily be achieved by playing through the game proper. I got to tier 2 within a few hours (clearing areas, yes, but I don't consider it grind unless you 'rinse, repeat') so instead of grinding away as soon as you get to EoTn, how about playing through the game until you've earned it that way? There's no rush, the armor vendors will be there when you're done

aside from a couple of minor problems, I really liked what I saw in the preview. Boxing was a blast, totally different.

Does it hurt you or affect your game play in any way shape or form to have someone get a run for armor? No it doesnt. Maybe enjoyment for them IS getting ran for armor. Others like to get the armor first then go back and play through the game.

I loved the weekend tons of fun, got R2 on Dwarf and Norn Title tracks with very little play. Which to me means no grinding for the titles.
Bunnies where fun, I still don't know what was so hard about that Mesmer boss. Maybe because I had 2 SF ele's and 3 Healers with me.
Only got to complete one dungeon, Frostmaw's Burrow. It was pretty awesome the only thing I really hated about it where the over powered (maybe due to a glitch) Stormcloud Incubus.
As far as the fascination with Kilroy goes he is an awesome character, but have none of you done his Sorrow's Furnace Quest. You think he leeroys in to crap now...you should see him in SF

They are actually quite easy to deal with.
You can pull 3 out at a time. Just make sure someone has a bow

I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend, and think they did a great job this far. Though the HoM is a huge disappointment if left the way it is.
Great Job ANet...can't wait until Friday!!!!

The gameplay in GW:EN was great. The artwork, the landscapes, it was all great.
Yet the most hyped feature, the HoM, was a huge disappointment.
I'm sure they'll change it...

So I have to add that I enjoy the dwarves more than I did in Prophecies. They actually feel alive now rather than a stepping stone (lol, pun intended) towards greater things. Each aspect of GWEN is itself a greater thing.
NF had some of that being more open, but GWEN is different in that the title tracks amount to something of importance by itself. In the end, you do just get the chance to kill off the Great Destroyer, but thats the frosting.
I'm not seeing the Destroyers as much more than Afflicted or Margonites at the moment, so I hope the lore digs as deep! As for the Great Destroyer, well, I will think of it as the Balroq for now, and that's good enough for me.

I, like most other players, was eager to see the Hall of Monuments. So it wasn't what I expected, not a biggie. It motivated me to actually hunt down those armor pieces for my heroes and I must say, a lot of them look sexy now. I added most of them to my hall already. I realized I didn't have a full set of Elite Canthan armor, so I was yet again motivated to actually get the scar pattern and boots (Which I also discovered I could get the bloodstained insignia, I had been using the ones found in prophecies desert about 2 years ago lol).
So I guess overall the hall motivated me to get some things I forgot about.
As for the rest of the preview I love the norn skills, some of the best skills I've seen and by far more useful than my other two mana chug spells. I like the Norn and their norse like lifestyle. Some of their quests are a lot of fun.
I liked the little stuff they added, like Dwarven boxing and the Norn tournament. Now I have an epic solo degeneration build that can beat anyone but healing Breeze monks (Curse you aleisa!) I also really like snowy environments, so I was in heaven all weekend. I'm definitely going to buy it.

Giving a little bump,
I would like to raise a hat to Anet, this expansion reminded me why I fell in love with Guild Wars, mmm don't take that in a weird way..
I hope most of you share my thoughts

yeah, ive been enjoying GW:EN with my little mesmer, the dungeons are a pain in the ass, but they are worth it... sometimes, so far the only dissapointing dungeon ive done (out from the two ive really done ) is the sepulchre of dragimar (or whatever its spelled, but you know what dungeon im talking about) i was expecting an item and a gem like the one from frostmaw. oh well, ill have to do that one today too.

The only thing i really didint like is what they did to Frostmaws dungeon after the preview event, it was a blast during the weekend but now its just to tough to be fun. My 2cents.

I didn't care about the main storyline much (too short, too easy), but the dungeons are The. Most. Fun. In Guild Wars. Ever.
/deep bow to the devs
Dear ArenaNet, please let the people who designed the dungeons have a lot of creative control in GW2!

Ah, was waiting for a thread like this.
The game is awesome. I lub the music, and I haven't listened to anything else so far. The boxing is awesome. The areas look great. The dungeons are fun. The new way the title tracks of factions work is much better.
