Sorry I don't understand this. Partly because I haven't gotten GW:EN yet. You mean there's a specific new armour set just for the monument or its an armour set by the vanguard?

Very nice. I will probably wait to ses what all of the other armors look like before I get one for my male paragon. By the way, what kind of spear is that... it's freaking badass.

I find all incesant discussion about "re-skinning," very curious. Who cares whether some or all of the armor pieces are created by applying new texture maps over some existing geometry? The question is simply whether you like it or not. For my part, I am very fond of half of what I've seen and feel that rangers have been particularly well-favored, which is what I predominantly play. On the other hand, my warrior probably won't recieve new armor, which is just fine considering what's in his closet already.
However, with regard to geography, I haven't seen anything yet that didn't blow me away and I expect to visit every dungeon and instanced area multiple times.
So, lighten up. No one is forcing anyone to grind for anything. There's too much innovative, good stuff to do. Do you really need new clothes only two days after the game's gone live?

Well I think it's partly a case of...were the original skins good to begin with, some classes I'm not really happy with their designs, Dervish...really the norn is the first armour I think looked really cool.

Like I said, reskins don't particulary bother me.. but here it's very obvious where each of the pieces have come from, and they don't even look like they fit together. I've been defending most of the armour sets seen so far, but this is really a case of take it out, and try again Anet.

Although it's obvious reskin, i kind of like it. But again, that may just be the beer talking

It's not really the fact that the reskins don't really look that impressive, but mainly the fact that they actually used reskinned armor. It screams laziness and stupidity. Being the last chapter of GW1, I honestly didn't think they'd really do that.
