have you tried infuse them? I thought they need "ascended" armor?

They need elite armors, which are the 15k or end game ones

Here's a picture of the sad monkie...
EDIT:
Arwen, nope, they don't need to be infused. I have that same monk's 15k tattoos (marhans ones) with no inscriptions, runes, or infusion on them and it took them fine.
Saupht, these costed 10k each to make, not to mention the materials. I would consider them elite and since they were crafted at the town the final "mission" is at, I'd consider them end-game. Even then, I highly doubt Anet would have the nerve to introduce this Hall of Monuments and not have the armors in that actual expansion be supported.
I'm seriously hoping this is a bug or something.... the only thing that makes me wonder is that all the armor pieces have different names. Bad idea, Anet...?

Uh, if they all have different names then you crafted a bunch of common armor pieces. Warriors have an actual armor set (eagle or some such), while others like eles just have the armor pieces that are available to everyone.

Then that means practically every class except Warriors get royally screwed?
This was the only armor that was on the list.....

None of the dwarven armor (including warrior Silver Eagle) can be added to the HoM. I'd guess that it's because dwarven armor technically isn't a single set, but a collection of stand-alone pieces.
Still, it would be nice if we were able to add it somehow, since the various pieces obviously coordinate together as a full set even if the names are different.
