I have one also. I was under the impression it was required for the quest you took to get into that dungeon, though I'm not 100% sure of this. If it was needed for the quest...why do I still have it? I'm unsure of what it's actually for.

It dropped from the dungeon in the south west corner in sacnoth valley.. I really havn't a clue what to use it for...I believe its purpose is yet to be implemented.

Have any of you tried taking the Carving to the huge Titan-like shrine in Old Ascalon? They seem somewhat similar. ^_^

Statue/Shrine can be found in Nolani Academy mission.

I currently have 3 of these , along with completing this dungeon 3 times. Theres no npc our quest for this artifact inside.

You do not need it for the repeatable quest in Catherdral of Flames otherwise you would not still have em -_-

Seeing as others have got it from Rragars, then I guess its something to do with Charr homelands, maybe they have something waiting for us. O,O maybe something good! Has anyone tried Ooze Pit? see if you can get 1 at the end of that I can't get through it >.<

Bug! Once you have taken the reward this item will stay in your inventory, rather than being consumed by the reward giver, like with the other dungeon associated quests, that require some form of item.
