The Warrior have 5 types gives me HOPE.
Hope that there was intended to be 5 per class and that Anet is working on the 9.
Which would give GWEN 50 sets.

Why does it suck, with all the whining here anet will add a set for other characters.
so warriors having 5 armors is a good thing.

The last thing ArenaNet needs to do is waste any more developer time on GW1. Stop enabling those who would turn GW into Barbie Fashion Fever (tm).
But do please add hard mode, which shouldn't be much harder than flipping a few bits and cracking the whip on a bunch of playtesters.

The thing that's most depressing about this armor set is not only is it warrior exclusive, it's also the most well done, interesting, and most importantly consistent armor set in the whole expansion.

The lasses get an open FoW helm, so for me it balances out.

While it is indeed one of the best armors (one of the few decent) in the expansion,
you still get screwed over since you can't add it to the Hall of Monuments unlike the other armors.

The Big Bird armor? You people are overreacting I don't think most warriors are in love with it. I guess uniqueness breeds a cult around it already though.

It's almost more like 3 sets of armor for each class, and 4 for warriors. The Dwarf armors for all the other professions aren't really sets, just individual pieces and some cross-profession gloves/headgear.

To be honest, I don't like the Silver Eagle armor that much, so having 5 armors for warriors doesn't really make me feel any more special. But, the other classes do have some hope that they will get another set because of this 5th set.

I didn't say most warriors love it. I *did* say that it was the most "together", original, and well done armor set in the expansion so far.

everyone is seriously overreacting over this whole armor thing.
And if this were dwarven armor you would be complaining it's a reskin of primeval, where does it end?

The only piece of it that you can tell is a reskin is the face (not the whole head). The rest is new, although the boots look a bit familiar.

Its shares a similar silhoute to Luxon warrior armor, but if you compare it side by side, its completely rebuilt.

You want to know why Warriors get another armor set? It's to compensate for all the crappy armor sets already have. Fo' serious. Warriors have the most hideous armor compared to the rest.
Thank you Arenanet!! Arigatoeu Goasisumasu!!111 *bow*

Funny how it's pretty much people with "Profession: W/x" under their usernames saying it's okay.
I think the armor's pretty cool-looking, myself. It's one of the few armor sets I'd consider buying. Damn shame I'll never get it because I only play Warrior class every now and then, though. So, um, why DO only Warriors get this extra set? I mean, are the rest of the classes coming soon or is Anet showing bias? Have we gotten any official statement on this?

I have worn my 15k Glads since my second week of playing [at 19 months now] and the 15k Kurzick is the only thing I ever THOUGHT of wearing since then. The fifth armor set is actually decent.

BS.
They can keep the big bird armor. I have my eye on the Monument or Asuran set.

Okay, despite that one guys BS arguement about Dervishs making warriors obsolete, it doesn't change the fact that warrior IS the most played class in the game. Its the class that most new players start with.
Hopefully, a.net will add in another 9 sets (well, 18, male and female) of silver eagle armor for the other professions.
