Do we seriously need ANOTHER thread on this?
It's prestigious for a reason. You have to WORK for it. If they made it into one uber quest or just gave the armor more expensible, people would just pay runners and ebay the items.

how about completing the game unlocks armour/other npc for that chacater/account?
you DID just save the world after all.
partial sharing of alegiance title tracks would be good too, maybe 10% of your points earned on any chacater is shared across the account. how do the omg grind ffs people feel about the max listed on the wiki's (110,00 or 200,000) per faction.
these title grinds are stupid, and against what attracted me, and many others to gw

well, i know there's a lot of different opinions n all but i thought i'd throw mine in so that A-net knows what i'm thinking.
truth be told, grind is annoying. In looking at what i will have to do to get my characters loaded up with the awesome new armor as well as the completely amazing armor for the heroes i know it'll be a while before i get any of it.
that being said the purpose of this expansion is different from the campaigns and therefore a comparison is rather silly. true this would take a lot of dedication and commitment to reap all the benefits but that's what the expansion was for. for all those players who have done all they can on the other chapters, here's something to further challenge you(if only in time commitment) so that you can show your dedication.
also, it's serving as a crossover to GW2. frankly if i have to grind a little bit now(or just work at it slowly so i still have stuff to do between now and GW2 release) in order to get myself all set for an awesome start with my(new) character in the next game, well that's a goal that's both worth working for and spending some time at.
besides, it's just a game :P (sorry couldn't resist)

Well interesting results
The grinders missed the point about having to do it again and again on each profession , thats my main sore point. I dont think for one minute those that promote continue the grind intend to repeat the process over 10 characters.
Someone raised a good point, it should be unlocked for the account
Some other idiot makes comments about idioism with no justifications.
Overall a lot are for leaving it how it is and are happy to spend hours and hours just killing nothing for no reason .
There are obviously some that are not happy.
**********************
Taking in to account the number of other threads raising similar issues the end result is that there are a lot of people that are not happy about the changes, just as there are a lot that are ok or happy with it.
I am content in the fact that slowly over 7000hrs of game time it is coming to the time that the developers have changed the way this game is so much so that for me it doesnt hold the same appeal.
Thank god, I'm a full addict and GWEN may be the thing that cures that .
They wont be getting any more of my money , for this type of content.
****************
Thanks for taking part, interesting to see, admittedly there was probably a better place for this in Sardelac, but its very clear people overall are not happy with the grinding need.

Happy Guild Warsing

If I got a point for each complaint made about required levels for armor I would've already maxed out my titles.
But seriously - I have been just playing GWEN, no farming and got most titles at LVL4, and haven't even finished everything yet. So no complaints about the required levels here ....

I'm sure its probably been said but my opinion is:
PLAY THE GAME!
there is no need to grind for your armor if you complete all the quests and do all the dungeons as well as taking all the bounties you can while running between dungeons and outposts, honestly its not that hard to get rank 5 on all of the 4 title tracks let alone one, if it makes you unhappy that you can't get armor for your 20 some-odd characters without playing the game then you shouldn't even have an account in the first place

What quest rewards you with 100 glacial stones?
Those of you who think grind is fine, is their any proportion to your thinking? Will it ever stop being fine? Anet already bumped the Glacial Gaunlets req from 35 stones to 100 - if it goes to 500 next week, will that still be fine? Are you all just mindless drones?
Queen Anet wants stuff... must get stuff...
It's been suggested before that Anet upped the figure, because people were farming them in a few hours during the preview - the result? Players like me, who were in no hurry and figured they would just collect them through normal play, now *have* to farm, pay a premium to farmers or forget about it. It was a bizarre solution to the "problem", to say the least.
People aren't being lazy - they're bored and frustrated because the ingame tasks they're being asked to carry out for rewards are incredibly dull and repetitive. Oh, and these rewards are necessary - many bought GW:EN specifically for new armours and kit. Go on and tell us we shouldn't be GW players, but you may find you regret being smug, if Anet loses the casual player-base.
