Polymock is fantastic as-is, save for the lack of a PvP option and the shitty rewards post-quest chain. Change those, and I'd be perfectly happy.

Ok, heres what should change:
Points
-50 Asura points for Winning with 1 piece remaining
-100 Asura points for Winning with 2 pieces remaining
-200 Asura points for Winning with 3 pieces remaining
Pieces
-Able to get the good pieces from other players when we beat them e.g titan
-Make one of a kind piecies customized so people dont sell them for 100k
-PvP rewards for winning certain number of matches
ETC (wasn't bothered to make a name)
-PvP polymock
-Polymock title track with exclusive pieces
-300k reward for getting all pieces (little bros idea)

Polymock is slow-paced, repetitive, boring, plain rubbish.. I hate it. On the other hand, I wish there were more Dwarven Boxing quests, those were quite fun.

i hate how people hate on this quest line...
it's not supposed to be a whole seperate game, just a piece of the game that diverts you from the monster fighting and such. It shouldn't be critiqued like a whole new game. Get the skills and move on, just like most other quests in the game and just thank them that you don't have to go outside and kill 2 bosses for some asuran summons.

I've been stuck on Blarg. My attempts at interrupting his overpowered skills don't work too well, as even without his most powerful skills, I simply can't go toe to toe with any of his uncommon pieces with nothing comparable in my own inventory, aside from the nearly worthless Kappa piece.
Thumbs down from me. It's less about your head and more about what you're using. It's hardly a strategy game; more of a twitch game with the constant focus on interrupts. IMO, it should have been more akin to chess, and less akin to Pokemon.

I personally find it dull. I can't see why anet thought this mini game would be fun. I played 2 games so far and I find it boring. It's a stiff version of the Norn one on one battles but designated skills through polymock pieces and not intense.
I think they should have made it with the same mechanics as they have now but have it similer to a chess/checker game.
tell me what you think of polymock.

I side with ya I played 2 matches was boring. Imo they did a bad job its basically the same skills but different names and your limited on space to move.... and the summoner skills are nto that great imo from what I under stand they can only use one skill..(plz correct me if i am wrong)

id like to see it made turn based

Very interesting comment, I'd agree. If it were made turn based that'd really make it a completely different game. Also I think they need to mask the skills better... perhaps give them their own icons, and health and energy?.. perhaps they could change it so it doesn't just look like a covered up form of regular GW health and energy.

I'd like it a lot more if it wasn't so timing intensive. Not everyone likes to play an interrupting mesmer, y'know.
That reminds me...
Knock knock!
Who's the-
INTERRUPTING MESMER!
Love that one.
Anyway, I wouldn't mind it all that much if it was account based, like Factions titles, but I have 10 level 20 characters, and if I want to get them something neat, say, those nifty Asura spectacles, I'm going to have to do that grind on each and every one of them.

I agree, and I'm stuck there too. The Earth Elemental seems ridiculously overpowered compared to anything else I have, as it looks like it has two big attacks rather than one big attack and one "utility' spell.

I like the basic idea about Polymock because it is a game where your class doesn't matter in a solo environment. I loathed Bison's tournament for the exact same reason, where if you weren't any of the fortunate ones, you were basically toast. And yes, I'm aware you can win that tourney as well with bad classes, but the whole setting seems massively unfair. I just farmed my crown with /Rt after finally being able to beat Bison with a Curses build and much luck.
I do agree, though, that the Polymock game takes little thought, and can be completed with simple series and spam-on-recharge. It needs to be expanded, not shut down.

Why am I forced to play this crap for PvE skills? That's what sucks. I don't want to play this crap, but I do want those damn skills.
Keep minigames as separate minigames. I hate how they integrated the minigames into necessities for acquiring items and spells.
Oh yeah - here's a thought... Let me actually SEE my pieces' skills without having to start a game and pick them. How can a game about forming strategy give you such a blindside like that? I want to see my pieces' skills while I'm in town, not while I'm waiting to start a round. Hell, let me see all the other pieces' skills too. The ones I don't have.

Polymock inhales
I hate Polymock. If it had rewards other than skills, I would never play it. Stupid side games like this do not belong in a RPG. They should put a circus arena zone in the battle isles so those who like this kind of junk can go to the amusement park and play these games. Just let the reward be money, not heroes or skills, so the rest of us can skip it.
