Default What is the most efficient way to farm faction?

I know the bonuses you receive from the shrines, and the bonuses you receive every 25 kills are random, but there seems to be a certain number you need to reach before you get the +4 bonus. Also, the more kills you have, the more points each shrine gives. So what is the best way to farm? Should I talk to a shrine norn every 25 kills, then clear the area, or get the blessing and kill 100, talk to a norn then clear the zone, then talk to all the norns.

That's the best way.

But for optimal effectiveness, you can try wiping the whole place clean, then talk to all the norns.

the only problem with that method is i've personally had a couple of frustrating moments where instead of getting bonus points, i get an increase in hunt rank >_<. Kind of useless considering I've already cleared the zone .

Overall tho the best way is to clear the zone then talk to the npcs generally u'll recieve bonus points.

I generally start talking to the shrine keepers again after every 50 until I get the bump in the hunt rate, and then leave them alone until I'm eligible for the next level of the hunt.

It depends on the zone, and whether or not you currently have a time bonus. Try to find the most efficient route through the zone so you don't retrace your steps. The bonuses are random when you talk to the NPCs, but they do give better bonuses the more kills you rack up before talking to them (wait until you hit 25/50/75/100 if you can).

There's no point in saving a bonus giver if it's going to take 5 minutes to get to your next thing to kill, especially considering you might get the rampage bonus instead of just points. Those 5 minutes could have been better spent clearing the zone again.

I dont talk to any bonus giver untill ive hit 75 kills. Then I talk to them as I get to them, continuing to clear out the zone, and end with talking to any bonus givers I skipped due to kill count too low.

I dont know if this is "optimal" but I usually get myself to rank 3 of the hunt before clearing the zone.
