Curse

I'm a bit puzzled. The curse has been lifted since she killed her brother, so in theory she can now shapechange into a bear, but the "Bear Form" skill or any other Norn skill for that matter cannot be equipped on her. Same problem with the Hero dwarf Ogden (sp?), he can't equip any of the Dwarf skills. Same thing with Gwen, she can't equip any of the Vanguard skills.

Am I missing something? If not, then

That makes the grind of acquiring the Norn, Dwarf and Vanguard titles less interesting and I hope ANet changes that soon.

I thought it was pretty silly that Jora can't turn into a bear, considering that.. we saw her get her ability back. Not so much the other skills, but the bear thing, or lack thereof, is certainly a bit off.

Oh well, she's still a pretty good tank.

I imagine that the bear form might involve a complete change-out of the skillbar, which we know heroes couldn't handle very well since they don't handle their own primary skillbars all that well!

If you'll notice the shine guards, they always use their primary skills in their bear form.

Well I don't know about Jora and the bear thing, but I do know the reason your heroes can't use their race's skills - they're PVE-only, so only you can use them. Can't use them in PVP and heroes can't use them. Don't know why but unfortunately that's the way it is.

Yep, if Anet didn't want Jora to be able to shift into a bear, they should have never allowed the curse to be lifted.

Why bother making a plausable explanation for not giving a certain Hero a NPC skill, and then ruin it?

I was pondering this too, after all the effort I went to, got that curse lifted for her and now? Now she's not even interested in her Bear form and is perfectly happy to ignore the interrupt skills in the skill bar too.
