Thread Subtitle: If You Are Going to Reskin Stuff Anet, How About These Armors As Well

When I think about it, how much of the anti-reskinning sentiment around here was because Anet didn't provide enough new armor and how much of it was maybe they could have chose better armors to reskin or came up with a better design when they reskinned them?

Example: I don't think it was entirely wrong of anet to reskin 15K kurzick for warriors, however I think the new version is uglier than both the canthan and elbonian designs. If it didn't have the techno design I think people would have been at least a little more receptive to it

Here are some of the ones I would have considered reskinning:
Warriors
15K charr hide - We're facing the charr again so why not bring it back somehow? Get rid of the fur lining and make it more of a plate look instead of banded and I think you'd have a perfectly good suit of armor.
15K luxon - the asurans have kurzick so why not luxon as a second option for warriors?
Istani - looks like something a dwarf would make.

Monks
15K Canthan would have been a better choice for asuran than Krytan armor.

Mesmers
15K Enchanters, 15K Rogue, or 15KFemale Canthan - Any of those would have been nice. I would have said 15K kurzick but I'm not sure how well it'd fit in the game despite being one of the two best sets.

Elementalists
1.5k stormforged or flameforged top 15k bottom stormforged - Be a great asuran piece
15k Canthan - Probably my favorite el armor, it would work for dwarven armor best.
15K Sunspear - It would be tied for my favorite if the blasted thing would dye better. Another set of boots would be needed though.
15K Luxon - A better reskin choice for dwarven than what they used.
Istani - Get rid of the runes and change the boots and gloves and do a little rework and it looks like something the norn would wear cause their females don't wear all that much.

Sassis
This is one group that in general I don't have many complaints about the reskins.

Rits
Shing Jea - Dyes well and it isn't busy so it'd be easy to add stuff to it.
1.5k Imperial -It looks like it could be made into a serviceable Asuran armor.

Paragons
Not alot to work with here I'm afraid. Anet reskinned the best they could.

Reskin the male warrior FOW chest piece to get rid of the 'crumb' catcher as it looks daft and resize the boots/gauntlets as they look too small.

I agree about the hands and feet.. look way too small, and as far as I can tell by comparison it is not because of an optical illusion.

The "crumb catcher" makes the armour look a bit more formidable i reckon...
