I NEVER reply to stuff like this, but with the constant spam of negativity, I had to put my thoughts down.
It's always safe to assume that everyone lies and is trying to deceive the community. Just because "you" can't do it, then it can't be done. Talk about arrogance!
How about giving credit where credit is due. Lord Feathers, gratz on getting what others are having difficulty with.

Or maybe, just maybe...
I don't want to believe it, because if I do believe it, and it ends up being wrong... I would end up exploring forever, yet not getting anything because that extra 1 point doesn't exist?
I'm not being negative, I'm being smart.
Like I said, I'll gladly change my side of things if/when proof is available

How picky is this Cartographer title? As it as picky as the old Cartographers were where you had wall hug every square inch to get what you want.
I'm currently on 306 points... i was first thinking that maybe it just hadn't counted something i did before Gwen or somet, because looking at the map there is no way in hell i've missed 10% of GWEN without wall hugging every square millimetre...

I'm thinking there's a bug, because I've finished GWEN, done all the quests, edgewalked the whole thing and I have 271 + 4 dungeons left to do. That comes to 311.
I suspect there is a bug with a quest and may possibly have something to do with the preview weekend.

However, the "Then & Now, Here & There" is only available to the prophecies characters & the additional conditions are that character must received a tapestry shred from Gwen herself at pre-searing & must pass a tapestry shred to her @ Hall of Monument for that quest.
I am not too sure this could be the "bugged" 5 pts. Hope it helps though.

Yea, I've already done both, still 5pts short. Thx tho

although I play a tyrian char, I never did any of the gwen quests in pre because I didn't know about them. I bought a tapestry shred off a guildie who was running them from pre, and I did the quests from the hall of monuments. it would be interesting to see if other chars could buy shreds and do the quests.

As far as I know, you can't get on the spiney thing in the Charr homelands. I think that the maps you've seen with it full uncovered would be maps that have been modified to not have the fog overlay (I'm pretty sure you can pull one out of the .dat file, or use texmod to get rid of the fog or something). As to what it is, no one really knows for sure, but the concept art on the official site for this has something to do with a dragon in the title (at least, that's what it's called in the fansite concept art kit you can download).

false ..
316 points is the absolute maximum any player can reach atm.
No one can reach 350 points for R3 in GW:En in the moment, because nothing lets you reach it, Anet has to put in more dungeons or more Quests for this per next Add on or by a FoS like update ... so that the title can be maxed, and who know, if r3 is even max ?
i personally would find this title cheap, when we could max it with 350 lousy points...
I see this as perfect way to introduce some dungeons to into south tyria (proph) and to cantha/elona, what woukld be nice, when al over the world are some dungeon.
through netx add on anet could use this then to give us again new explorable areas and to make certain areas on the old maps that were before untravelalbe > travelable, like they did in GW:EN
then do in again some new PvE only skills and normal/elite skills, which lower a bit the big difference in # of skills for the newer classes (core classes have enough skills per class), or maybe introduce 2 new profs with like 100 start skills each.
However, it brings nothign to discuss in the moment about master of the north title, because its atm simple unmaxable, you can all read this in the official Guil Wiki
PS: GW:EN has/gets no hardmode, because GW:EN is still like hardmode .... or what want you see, that monsters in GW:En get even more tougher ? thta you have to fight vs. hundreds of lvl 35+ monsters, where destroyers get like certain monsters of the underworld > unbeatable, unti u kill something special, or that they can double themself, short before they die or that more come, when you kill them ike the big titans ?
that dungeons have then no rezz shrines anymore and that rezz skills wont work in dungeons in HM ?
guy, please think first on, that casural players want to play GW:En too, and not only the absolute hardcore freaks, with love to get perma instant full party wiped -.-

Phoenix, I like your thought of more content coming our way. It is something I have been thinking about since finishing the game so quickly. But some of your ideas are plain wrong.
We already know that there are no new classes coming and we were told from the start that not many new PvP usable skills were coming. It is all to do with the current business model making everything too bloated and hard to balance.
Oh and there is a thread somewhere, in which Gaile has confirmed hard mode is coming to GWEN.

hmm, can you link me this thread ?
i would love to know, what we can really expect from the GW:EN HM, when GW:EN is still like HM of the 3 campaign's HM.
I personally don't want to see, how more unbalanced this in HM for GW:EN should become, when mosnter groups get even more bigger, mosnter levels get even more unfairer vs us. that we stay ever at stupid max of 20, where i would see for fairness finally a rise of to at least max lvl 25 to get in a bit more balance again, when we would have to fight then vs. enemies that are far beyound the strength of lvl 30 bosses.
HM for GW:En would be only a big kick into the ass for casual players, which would be forced to play with other players, becasue with H/H you can still forget like 75% of the dungeons in "NM" of GW:EN, because H/H is simple too weak for GW:En or the AI is as ever simple too dumb ...
========
about content for me personally is sure, that there wil follow something, look only on the tyria map, do you find those 2 big ugly black sides nice?
When i want to look on a world map, then i want so see everything and not such 2 huge black holes.
on the right for for example is space for a NF Add on and on the left maybe then a FA Add on, which will bring in maybe some new continents ...
The wrold of GW could have still some continents more
Cantha > Asia
Elona > Africa
Tyria/Kryta > Europe/Greenland
We've nothing for North/South America, nothing for Australia and nothing for the Antarctic/Arctic, would be 3-4 new continents/campaigns to make our world complete. i pesonall< would love, when next continents would receive some names, that end not with "a", what could also be some new professions.
But i think alos, that most new stuff will surely come with GW2

Do you? I was under the impression you got points again (but less) for redoing dungeons. My mistakes.

ok then i guess that is what i saw...
for the one asking about how picky it is... its the same as other chapters... i compare it to tyria an cantha... but there is less area so less scapping but it is realy picky you need to stand on spots and turn a few time before it unfogs!

If you noticed wiki and gw had the title at a rank 5 or 6 with like 750 points.
I'm guessing that since there's no specific vanq or quardian title track that we'll have to vanq and do all the dungeons in hm to finish off that title track .

I currenthly have 296 points or so. I have every dungeon but Slavers completed and my maps looks pretty complete.
So my question is:
Does exploring in dungeons count towards these points. I know completing them does but does unvocovering every last hidden part count?

Smart? So you have proof that getting 316 is not possible? Let's just see your screenie that you have 315 along with every relevant screenshot that you have explored every area... oh no wait, that could be done with photoshop!! You can't prove that people are wrong just because you refuse their proof to be right.
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Talk:... r_exploration
If you're still not convinced then don't worry, 315 is a good achievement *cough* nah j/k.

Lol, did I say I was right?
Just like you can believe the 316 people if you want to, you can believe me if you want to.
I'm not trying to influence anyone's choice, just speaking what choice I'm making, and that choice is to not believe that it's possible to get 316 as there is no proof. I'm not trying to prove anyone wrong, just saying there is no proof that they're right.
