W/Mo Lornars pass solo-farming
Part of it is easy and part of it takes some effort.
Here it goes.
Equipement:
Fiery and shocking sword of defense +5 with dam +xx% while enchanted
Any shield with 16 armor and req9 tactics or less
Armor: gladiator set with ascalon helmet.
Attributes: (200 attrib points are required)
healing 11
tactics 9
sword 12
strength 6
Skills:
mending/live vicerously
healing hands (elite)
vigorous spirit
barbarous slice
silverwing slash
galrath slash
final trust
watch yourself
How to farm.
Go to beacons perch and take south exit. Cast mending. Use fiery sword. Walk to the left. You'll face imps and pinesouls. Cast healing hands and vigorous spirit before the imps use mealstrom. Kill them and continue to the ice golems. Always keep vigorous spirit up, make sure you're always attacking, it's your healing. Some golems tend to run away. Just attack a golem which is attacking you as well. Cast healing hands as soon as it's recharged. Walk towards avicara. Use Shocking sword (does 2 times more damage than any other hilt on avicara) Attack the guile first. Cast vigorous spirit before you approach them cause he will strip you of an enchantment. Cast vigorous spirit again. Kill all golems you see after that. When dealing with imps always make sure you walk out of there mealstrom when you want to cast an enchantment on yourself. Using this tactic it's possible to take out a group of 4 imps. Killing the avicara group of 5 takes some tactics but is possible. Again cast vigorous spirit before you attack. Take out the ardent first and then the guile. Sometimes there's a bug that 1 avicara is far ahead on the other ones. This makes them only easier to kill When the ardent casts shield of judgement, switch target and count to 20. Then switch back to the ardent again and finish him off.
About the drops:
they've used to be awesome but I guess I've farmed the place too much. I've found all kinds of golden items including fellblades, superior absorption, superior vigor, superior monk runes, black dyes, etc etc. Everything I find goes straight to the merchent accept when the value of an item is 5k or higher. You'll get about 1,5-2,5k a run depending on the amounts of coin and blue/purple/gold itemdrops. The summit badges can be exchanged in droknar. This adds to the profit since a badge only goes for 8g at the merchent. Exchange 5 badges and get an item worth 125g. Same goes for the frigit hearts and avicara scalps.
happy farming

Heh, you helped my ranger a few months ago on a bear (Arwen Phoenix) in Lornar's but the hunt eventually ended in Talus :P
Still got you on my friends list I think
And observed the skills you used back then, been doing the same with my warrior
Inventory is filled rather quickly though so it's pretty fast :P

I suppose you could sub in Execute/Penetrating Blow, an axe interrupt, cyclone axe, and Flurry to make this a massively awesome axe build as well? Discuss.

hmm.....i dont think that cyclone axe would be good. unlike many other places, most of the monsters here are ranged, so you will only be hitting the 1 or 2 monsters close to you......

Why settle with a sword or an axe when you can use both? This is what I do: Buy another piece of armor and put an axe/sword rune on it. Simply switch armor piece when you want to use a sword instead of an axe (or vice versa). In this way, nomatter where you farm or doing a mission you'll always have the best suitable weapon. Both in the desert and in the southern shiverpeaks are collectors whom exchange +15% damage swords and axes. Who cares how the weapon looks when farming, nobody's whatching right?

Nono, what I meant to say is there are places where an axe is better and places where are sword is better. You choose your weapon before you'll enter an area and make a build which is most suitable for that. Hence having 2 parts of the same armor with different runes.

About 10-15 min, depends on enemyspawn.
Killing golems goes quicker if you take Balanced Stance instead of Gash, killing imps, pinesouls and avicara will take longer then of course.

Well, if that's a route that you're interested in travelling, I'd have to agree with Veneficus that your "Meh" reply wasn't exactly more on-topic than my reply was.
Back to topic: Are you also farming the grawls and some of the stone summit groups with this build or is it just for Imps/Golems/Pinesouls and Avicara?
