Are these chests dropping better or something? ive seen lots of "Hos cr" in the eye. Just wondering if i was missing out some something or not.

no better, but it's relatively quick compared to full blown dungeons. plus boss is a pushover with a pug.

Or get any hero or hench that can interuppt good or you could get Great Dwarf Weapon spell use it on henches that melle or shoot with a bow or spear for ints

yeah, the dungeon is very quick. With the right build you can run to the boss and have the chest spawned in under 10 mins (starting from Central Transfer Chamber). I hope they don't nerf it as it's one of the few things I can do in EotN when I have a spare 10-15 mins.

What do you think they will do now? i did this 3-4 days when Gwen came out it was fast easy then it spread like a swarm on honey they will add more mobs make it hard and alot more now

Gawddam. Anet is probably gonna read this now and nerf it. No one has been making threads on HoS for fear of this (I see PuGs talking about "not making this run too aware"). Oh well, I've gotten my fair share.

I don't see the point in nerfing it.
for an investment of 10 -15 minutes 8 people are likely to end up with a fairly rubbish gold item that will go straight to a merchant for 300 gold.
You do have a chance of a good gold , a boss item , polymock piece, a gem but the odds are that you probably won't get one.

The proper farmers -the ones that influence the economy - they have much better places to farm for those 15 minute that will net them a lot more gold (the way to truely get money is to kill lots of things quickly for the money drops - not to purposely go after a gold item as they are a random drop)

GWEN groups don't drop a lot of money piles - I don't see GWEN as a place to farm for cash. If they nerf this before they nerf some other areas I will be very disappointed

If you didn't realize, Onyx is steadily decreasing but managing to stay at 7k. HoS Runs are currently one of the fastest ways to earn an Onyx gemstone. Also... I've seen plenty of rare things come out of there, Colossal Scimitars, ELemental Swords, Gloom Shields, etc. And plus, it isn't even about the "influence" on the economy. It's about the fact that people can run through all the levels on a dungeon with no quest. And when battling Magmas, all you simply do is spam kegs to win

lol the nerf is already on it way.before this posts. something about adding a boss like moster that drops a key fpr the dungen boss level that way you cant just run too the end lay crap loads of dyomite and boom!!!!!!!!

also talks about only a certain number of barrels out at one time doing the dmage also

so have fun do as much as possible like i am. i knew about the duncun fix and what day it was going to happen 6 days before hand. have not heard anything from my source yet so i give it 1 week or so.but he has not been on in about 3 days soo could be thursday

Well i made a lot of money out of it and got my r7 asuran title.. so at least some profit before it will get 'fixed'

ive been leaving from the eye, guess leaving from ctc would cut down on the time a bit if you start from HoS right off the bat.

playing as a warrior, i really wish that i wasnt getting asura points but rather norn or dwarven. oh wellz, at least im getting a few dwarven points on the last tier of the dungeon.

Stopping HoS runs would be both unnecessary and childish on part of Anet it hurts absolutely nothing except the paying customers who enjoy doing it.

That's a pathetic reason.
People enjoyed IWAY, but that got nerfed. If it unbalances gameplay it should be nerfed. And it does unbalance the game by creating an influx of gems/greens
