Running from EOTN to Rata Sum.
Ok, heres the deal.
Ive ran most of the way from eye of the north, to rata sum with my spell breaker mo/r build.
So i think maybe it can be run as a way of making proffit.
My ele needs a runner from eotn to rata sum, coz i cant be bothered to get their myself, and i'll pay 10k for the run.
I think the best thing to run will probly be echo shadow form, but im no expert.
If any1 thinks they can run me, message me in game.
- I wont pay for failed runs, i'll give the 10k on arrival to rata sum.
- Their is a dungeon we have to do, but its runnable.
Many thanks . Master Kaii

This sounds impossible- Rata Sum is not in line with the EotN, and you have to do at least one dungeon crawl in between. Aren't the portals blocked off if a character in your party hasn't done certain things?

no they are not - once you get to EoTN you can take the asura part of the main quest, and it brings you through Rata Sum. I ran my monk to every outpost in gwen except CTC, only did like 2 primaries - had to do them to open Doomlore Shrine...

I found the easiest way to run it with my Dervish and VoS standard run. It is a very simple run. The hardest part is getting through Arbor Bay. I find the easiest way through arbor bay to be to the south and go through alcazia tangle and then up in the center to rata sum. And you should take this kind of request to Ventari's section of the forums, not here.

I did the same thing for skipping my Rit over to the asura lands... I was going to go through HoS to first level of Bogroot then on through Orr back into the jungle, but I found it was actually easier to run through Verdant->Vloxen->riven earth.
so whatcha bringing Ele for? farming jellyfish? ;D

Done =]
Ok, ive done it now so dont worry about running me.
i just threw together a build of what i had
Glyph of elemental power
Flame dijins haste
shadow form
dash
dark escape
deaths charge
shadow refuge
feigned neutrality
Only died once on the whole run, it was at the entrance to riven earth from arbor bay. The last monster u will see is a stupid bat thing, that strips shadow form, so make sure you have an extra enchantment such as shadow refuge on before you agro him.

Yep the run is possible, done it before. You do not need to do any dungeons or whatever.
Any character can run with his primary and secondary skills. Some are just slightly better runners. But mostly it is about knowing the way and the skill (not the skillbar) of the player.
Just take W/P, P/W and Mo/P heroes. Give em Charge, Fall Back, Heal Party, LoD and some other running and healing skills. Sometimes you need to flag the heroes up front to take your damage. Dont forget to take Devona (charge), the two Monks and the other warrior.
