Jade Brotherhood in HM
Okay I'm a necro working on my Vanquisher titles in Cantha. One of my limitations here is that I'm working almost exclusively with H/H. I vanquish the island, the Jade Sea, and Echovald forest with no problems (almost stupidly easy). Using myself as an SS necro with "You Move Like a Dwarf" for general interrupting, and Pain Inverter for ele ganking (Goodbye Earth Wardens). I take General Morgain to shout at us, Livia to keep up the tank wall and to help with minion/barbs spikes, and typically Talhora as a LoD healer. I'm up to 28/33 vanquished, and it's all Kaineg left.
I've managed a few of the areas with groups of 4 max Jade brotherhood groups (the Walkway for example), but areas like Budek Byway and the Temple are totally killing me. The problem seems to be with getting my damage dealers to those damn mesmers which strip off my hexes, which at the same time, avoiding the dragons stomps, and the Knights tearing up my backline. If a group has no mesmers, I'm golden, if it has no mages, likewise. It's the groups of 6+ with 2 mesmers or 2 mages, or both that I can't even make headway on. I've tried sab's build to no avail. I've tried bringing the earth hench for wards, with no luck. Interrupting withdraw hexes is nearly impossible, and even if I did, in hard mode they get it back in 4 seconds anyway.
Can anyone recommend a H/H build with a necro primary that will be effective against large groups of Jades? Also, can anyone recommend a way of finding a group that has the meet with the emperor quest so I can do the temple with easy, and the Chasing Zenmai and Drunken Master quests so I can get the Byway easy?

Yeah, the jade are tricky.
I know you're H/H this, but if you can, get a buddy to do this.
Aggro control is really important against the jades. I disdain tank and shank, but really, usage of a dedicated, DoA style tank against these is not a bad idea.
I used Koss and would position him on corners and stuff.

Easier way ...
For Tahnnakai Temple HM, find a partner who has a A Meeting With the Emperor quest active and HM unlocked. Go to the norhern are but dont cross the bridge - there are 2 mobs - Temple Guardians (use command your heroes using flags to kill these two while you stay on the other side of the bridge).
For Bukdek Byway, you need to have quest The Drunken Master active and you need only to kill one Drinkmaster Tahnu to get a credit for vanquishing this area.
Hope this help you a bit...

Edit: When I needed to vanq. these areas, I just stand next to NPC quest reward and spammed chat for about 10 minutes. I found partners for it easily ...

Okay, for Echovald I used the following:
Me:
[skill]Spiteful Spirit[/skill][skill]Insidious Parasite[/skill][skill]Mark of Pain[/skill][skill]Barbs[/skill][skill]Necrosis[/skill][skill]"You Move Like A Dwarf!"[/skill][skill]Signet of Lost Souls[/skill][skill]Pain Inverter[/skill]
General Morghan:
[skill]Signet of Synergy[/skill][skill]Spear of Lightning[/skill][skill]Song of Restoration[/skill][skill]Ballad of Restoration[/skill][skill]Aria of Zeal[/skill][skill]"Watch Yourself"[/skill][skill]"Shields up"[/skill][skill]Signet of Return[/skill]
Livia:
As described in sab's build
Talhora:
[Mo/any Holy Haste LoD Healer;OwAT043A553tRyJ11N90vSjGB]
Take a Hench Fighter, Healer, Prot, and Dom or Earth.
For Dredge: Easy, no real effort required. Barbs on healers, then SS and insid spread to sins and wars. Rangers last.
For Wardens:
1.) If group has no earth wardens, barbs on closest, SS and next, insid on next all as fast as possible. Drop pain inverter on wardens of spirit before group aggros, they will kill themselves instantly. after initial barbs/minion spike, take out any rit wardens then clean up.
2.)If group has 1 earth warden. Cast barbs just out of aggro on rit, then command H/H to attack, switch to earth warden and drop Pain inverter on him. After he casts his AOE, he will drop in 2-3 cycles, run your H/H out of the spell if needed. Tal can heal that away no prob. If the Pain inverter spike does not kill the warden, command H/H to attack and drop Barb on him. Once earth warden is dead continue as above.
3.)If group has two wardens, command H/H to attack one (with barbs) and drop Pain inverter on the second. Use "You move Like a Dwarf" if he survives the PI spike and use necrosis to finish. IF H/H haven't killed the first earth warden move to him. Then proceed as with #1.
Other groups will be relatively easy. Concentrate H/H on the Minion masters (Kirin) and drop Pain inverter on the eles. SS/insid and forget them on the wars. All of echovald goes down easy this way.
For the Jade Sea:
Always target healers first with a barbs spike. Drop SS/insid on sins, spreading if needed. Command H/H to spike any target you put Barbs on, and always put MArk of Pain on a boss, or clumped groups. You, yourself (as a necro) should never have aggro, use "You move like a Dwarf" to break and run from Wars/sins that target you. There was one healer boss that gave me trouble till I learned the barbs/minion spike trick. Combine this with you knocking down the healer at the right time, and you can kill the wars/rangers faster than the healer can heal.
All of this, of course is worthless on foes that routinely/quickly strip hexes.

Yeah, I'm still trying to find someone who meets these two conditions, but noone in my guild does. I go to KC and Just outside the Temple and ask around everyday, but no luck so far.

The Temple is easily one of the top five hardest areas to vanquish with H/H, imo. I know the search function is almost useless, but you might try looking back a few months...there were a couple of threads with various suggestions for the Jade areas. Some said it was easy, some said impossible...the usual stuff. For me, playing as as ele, I was able to do it (after many failures) by taking two hero monks as bonders, the third hero as a MM, then one hench monk healer, two hench melee, and I think Cynn. (memory is starting to fade a little, sorry about that). I played as an air ele, with blind and weakness.
The two bonders were the key for me (flag them out of the fray). I blinded and weakened the Knights while directing the H/H to focus on the Rits first, then the Mages, then whatever was left. The minions were a great meat shield.
SS is hard there becuase of hex removal, especially Hex Eater Vortex. If you don't use hexes, though, the Jade Mesmers become just annoying with interrupts but not a real damage threat. So you may consider going as a MM if you wanted to try my team setup. Since you have Pain Inverter you can also do nice direct damage yourself. Or try to dig up those earlier threads for other ideas. Best of luck...I hated that area.
Edit: Also, you probably know this from your other vanquishing, but pulling is key to avoid over-aggro in all the Jade areas of the city. They will follow you a long way when pulling, so you can get them far away from any nearby groups.

For Bukdek Byway, you need both "The Drunken Master" and "Chasing Zenmai" in order for it to work. In addition, you must not have the quests "Eliminate the Jade Brotherhood" or "Eliminate the Am Fah" active. If you have the quest "The Afflicted Guard", you will also need to kill Afflicted Guardsman Chun to complete the vanquishing.
All explain here http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Bukdek_Byway
If you don't have both quests, give me a PM ingame, if I'm not busy I'll be happy to help you out. Take less then 1 minute to Vanquished Bukdek

I have a feeling Payne didn't realize we are talking HM here.
Anyways, today I vanq'ed Unwaking Waters. Was about 100 x easier than Wajjun Bazaar and the Jade Brotherhood island of doom.
So my point: HM Jade Brotherhood >>>> HM Shiroken..........which seems totally jacked to me, because that's reversed in NM.

Shiro'ken were always easy IMO, haven't faced any yet in HM other than end of Viz mission, still finishing off Kurz and land based Jade areas.
Blasted city areas still to go too, waiting for a friend to finish Temple so I can get an easy vanquish there.
