its your friend...haven't done this mission since HM and don't want to again :P
use wiki...it gives a very good guide on how to save all the chosen - its worked for me on HM so NM for you should be a breeze

5 Chosen right?
First is in the village
2nd is attacked by 3 Tengu after the Bridge.
3rd is left of the Bridge with a good spawn never attacked, with an okay spawn attacked by 3 Tengu, with a bad spawn attacked by 7 Tengu (the spawn will determine where in aggro range they are in relationship to the Chosen Villager).
5th is by the Merchants, attacked by the Tengu (end of the road)
4th is just standing in the fields being attacked by the Ettins.
Okay, I always send the healer out first when saving these silly Chosen. Assuming no elites, and no heros, you can have your henchie monk (Alesia) with the other henchies to run ahead and flag by the Villager.
If you still need help, I'll help you. Add me to Friend's list: Dargoth Alfazul. I may be playing a different character, but I'll help you.
Good luck!

Many of my guildies have had trouble with this. Just bring a good speed buff and some heal/prot skills. Run ahead of your party and save the dude before he dies. Let the rest of your party catch up then kill the baddies ^^

Give one of your heroes Charge! and manually activate it as soon as it recharges. You shouldn't have any problems. I never even bother healing or protecting the chosen, although it's not a bad suggestion. Also, after you save the first three and kill off the boss (forget what profession he is...) and go through the gate, take the shortcut left to get to the chosen being beaten by the Ettins. He was always the trickiest for me, when I went by the main road and before I took Charge! Now the only tricky part is making sure that the chosen actually follow you once you "save" them. Keep checking the radar to make sure they don't lag behind or stop following altogether.

And don't be dumb, you should kill off the tengu relatively fast, and just grab their agro, they get on you quite easily.

Go with heroes/hench and flag them ahead using the minimap ('U'). The tengu only appear and start attacking when a player gets to within radar range, and the heroes and hench can be waiting for them. Works just as well in hard mode (actually, hard mode without this trick is nearly impossible unless you have amazing luck with spawns).

HM is fine, just take a speed buff for ur monk hero and micro the heal/prot on the villager, you need to do this for villager 4 and 5. Since I play para i used make haste as the buff. (though I had a real player with me so I did not have to micro)

Heros wont use Infuse. If your going to use it manually on the hero panel you may as well go /Mo yourself with infuse.

I did this on hard mode yesterday. It took me 10 tries, but I finally got it with a H/H party. I had to go N/Mo with healing/prot prayers, while playing minion master. on try 9, there were 6 tengus attacking the 3rd chosen when I got into radar range. Yes it is silly. It all depends if you get good monster spawns or not.

thanks for all your help guys!
turns out i was just unlucky with spawns, 7 attacking the 3rd chosen my first 5 tries.
so i convinced a guildie (monk) to come out of retirement specially to help me. So we did the mission and neither chosen 3 or 4 were under attack -__-
"but..but it was hard when i did it earlier"
he just loled at me and went back into retirement
