Main Cantha Vanquishing Tips
Ok, so I'm using a W/P Dragonslasher, with Sab's 3-Necro build. I'm having problems with minister cho's estate ( MINISTER CHO'S ESTATE! *GASP* ). Can anyone help me? Thx!

It's extremely easy. BHA Ranger (target the scribes/servants first, AoE sucks), one MM, one hybrid LoD protector and one damage dealer melee.

Well, for the main land you'll face the Jade Brotherhood in the first areas of Kaineng. I recommend bonding yourself and take the initial spike, then send the rest of your heroes and henchmen into battle. It's a sucky strategy, but these guys guys can turn your henchmen into toast within a second (not literally but you get the point... I hope =P).
Afflicted are also sucky, especially their Elementalists. If you're going to use bonding here, be sure to get their Mesmers first, they got enchantment removal.
Same for the Wardens in Echovald Forest, get their Mesmers first. I've used Sab's 3 Necromancers for a few areas here, and they work pretty good there.
Jade Sea is cake, nothing to worry about.=P

Yeah, but Wardens don't spike that hard, no bonding is needed for them. If you don't use Bonds get their Ritualists (they heal) first, then their Elementalists (they use AoE Earth Magic).

Their healing is weak, so first go for their Elementalists, they are the most dangerous, then the melee or ritualists (if there are 2 or more it can make killing the warriors a bit harder =P). Their Mesmers are not that dangerous. Melee is easily countered by bringing Ward against Melee, blind or weak.
Elementalist spikes are survived by bonds on you; after you take the first spike, let the henchmen go in and start spiking some of them.

I tend to get a chuckle out of people that do 1 searing flame ele. They really work best with 2, if you are going to do only 1 fire ele, it makes more sense to do the SH ele.

Cantha in general except for Morostav Trail ( due to heavy AOE ) is all very easy much more so then Elona / Tyria!
no need for consumables EVER - newb island is all pretty basics - Sab's necro builds whilst nice are not necessity!!!
just take a BHA ranger with you and watch out for ele bosses - some pack a bloody brutal kick with their elites - shenzun tunnels for instances massive damage unless protted up :P
if you need any tips on a certain area just PM me IG

can offer you tips on any area as I have canthan vanquisher ^^

How do you vanquish Morostav Trail. The hardest part is getting through a boss and group in a cul-de-sac area close to one of the towns.

Yea, that warrior boss is fierce.
I think when I managed it I had The O-Man create a few minions in preparation, I then went in and lured the group out, slapped Pain Inverter on one of the Eles, and tried to keep all Warriors, in particular the boss, blinded, until all his little caster mates were dead.
Keeping him blind stops the damage he can chuck out himself, allowing you to pick off everyone else.
For some reason I actually found the Quickshot Ranger boss the worst. Maybe I'd got complacent by that point, but on my successful attempt I only suffered 3 partywipes. 2 were caused by the Quickshot boss.

True enough that, 3 SF Eles work even better than 2 of course. If you have multiple SF Eles it's always auspicious to have one carry Mark of Rodgort to make the whole process work even better.
For a lot of Hard Mode I personally found Blind to be the best way forward, I completed it on my Ele, using Air Magic. Inflicting a condition on physical damage dealers meaning they have a 90% chance to miss is just drool-worthy. Warriors, Rangers and Assassins hit very hard in Hard Mode, and blinding them pretty much stops them in their tracks.

If you are running Air-Ele, include Enrvatig Charge. The 10% they do get a hit through it's only about 20 damage .

I don't take Enervating Charge, I take Shell Shock to spread with my Epidemic. I leave the Weakness to Master of Whispers who invariably comes along for the ride with Enfeebling Blood.
If I didn't have a necro I'd probably take it.

I find a Mind Blast ele with [skill=text]Rodgort's Invocation[/skill] is normally the best choice for a single fire ele ^^

Question for you guys.. would a hero elementalist with Bsurge know how/when to use it/spread it around? I assume not, but I'm curious, as I'm trying to VQ the mainland with my monk, so I have few utility options along those lines.
