I do have the U-maps of my initial posting, but have not yet found a good place to host them.
I need to be able to replace them fairly easy without editing the posting here, since some are outdated.
Surgestions are welcome.

Same here, I've used the U-maps for the two other continents as well. I'm not comfortable with difference layer map method and can't progress as fast as I would like. I'm at 98.1 and would like to finish be fore GW:EN comes out.

The_jos, instead of editing early posts maybe we should just start a new thread for GW;EN maps of Tyrian continent and post them there.

For me, difference compare works, but experiences differ.

I won't start a new thread for GW:EN (yet), because I don't know how exploration will turn out with the expansion.
For Tyrian exploration, the original post still applies, U-maps are still the same, only the zoomed-out map changed.

That's the way the new U-map looks, am 99.9% certain you can't explore that (the updated map messed up the U-maps)

I am sure this has probably been asked somewhere but I did a search for it and didn't find the answer I am looking for. I am at 92.6% explored.

What is the situation with the Ascalon Arena and the Shiverpeak Arena? I can go into the outposts but I can't play because I am level 20. Would I have had to start with a brand new character in order to explore the arena's and reach 100%? Or am I still able to explore it somehow? or does the arena it's self not count? What do I do about this?

The Arenas counted towards the title, at least back before the maps were moved, but they are not required to reach 100%. When you get down to the last few tenths of a percent you'll wish you had them, but Tyria gives so much extra in terms of mapping you shouldn't have an issue. Without the arenas, Tyria was the only continent I didn't have to go back through areas to wall grind, and after I reached 100% I still had areas left that needed explored.

Edit: The outposts count though, for those you can still enter.

Hi there, i hope this is can be posted here as I have been checking the Breach for many times for the cartography title, I did it again because, well, I can't find the remaining 1% and to my surprise, I did not mapped the whole of the breach and its because of the big pillar thing, see pictures, its a whole chunk (exectly 0.1% chunk) that I miss right behind Sally Kaugie.

*note your map will not show that 0.1% chunk is not mapped, because I've look at my maps for a long time and that spot now look the same as it was before i got the 0.1% for going behind sally Kaugie.

PS: Hi the_jos, you can always post your picture where I post mine, its a free web hosting service that has unlimited bandwith, direct linking of picture, and your picture will be updated here if you update your pictures in you pictures folder, just don't change the name of the picture when you re-upload them.

Alright, I will say this thing helped me a lot. I was stuck at 99.7% and I went through the list and ended up at 100%! ^^ Put the list in a word document so you can delete them as you go and you will find your percents disappearing. I still had about 3/4 of a word document page when I was done. If you delete all of them, you may have an unlisted area missing which in that case, get a map checker. ^^"
