Hi, I would like to request that someone please upload a 100% 1280x1024 zoomed-out map of Cantha(no outposts/towns).

All the 1280x1024 currently on the forums maps are not 100%, or the server no longer hosts them.

If someone could please that would be awesome!

Drownage,

Please take a look at Livingston's first post, where he posts a couple of Canthan maps with spots that are often missed (Shing Jea, Kaeneng, Unwaking, Luxon, etc) . I used those maps as a basis to overlay my 1280x1024 screenshots.

Hi all,

Has anyone done a survey of what the most common profession to get to Grandmaster Cartographer is?

Seems to be all kinds who have gotten to 100%, but I am wondering if there are some for which it is easier, or a lot harder. Of course some people will have set their sites on the title long after they started the character, and are stuck with whatever they began with. But what about people who created a character with the intention of getting to Grandmaster?

Well if you take a warrior or dervish you could get the title with a little less fuss as you have better armour etc. I managed it with a squishy ele and know a few people who did it with their mesmers. I've finished all 3 Carto titles on my ele now and have to say that each profession has its own pros and cons.

In the end, you have to learn how best to use aggro, when to fight etc and that was about half the fun of the titles for me. The other half being all the pretty sites

I've reached the title for the third time, this time with my ranger.
Now its time for the last char to this title, my mesmer.
I'm only at 70% so a low way to go.
But i must say, Livingstones maps are so help full.
So i have good hope to have this title soon for the 4th time

lol im working on all there 100% titles lol and i got to 97.8% of canthan to nite and i cant hug no more your guild if kool m8 real efford put in to it but im done i cant find the last 2.2%

and i can hug no walls mo more

in canthan 100% do u need to be in guild or allince that own amatz basin to get a bit of map or can u leave it

Cantha is a lot slower since I only do these when I'm busy defragging my drives or something, but i'll have a look at it for ya

I finished it tonight, despite missing the Jade Quarry meet. I got desperate enough to jump into Ft Aspenwood and pretend that I knew what I was supposed to be doing there, while clearing map! Scraping a wall in Arborstone finished it off and got me KOABD!

This was the last map I had to do, and I can't say enough about how helpful your threads have been, Livingston. And the 100% maps were great too.

Thanks a bunch Livingston - Your help has been awesome! Your maps have been invaluable. But I got stuck on 99.8% - then in one of the maps noticed that little island south of Shing Jea Monastary - D'oh!!

Can't believe I missed the Shing Jea arena!!!!

Sheesh this is crazy, im at 98.0% atm. Been following this guide since 90% and its been good, gone through all the stops, i still have one spot at the banishment sight and some jade quarry (who doesn't.) Also went through the commonly missed spots, jade area, foreign corner etc.

But i still can't figure out what the heck im missing, even comparing the u maps i see no difference between them!

Edit: It would be really helpful if someone could tell me how to make/post maps of my map.
