i dunno if mine got missed out or if nobody could find anything so i thought i'd do a re post of my u-map just incase it was the first of the two

my first grandmaster title.

had to go over everything twice as i was missing .8%.

stilll working on my other map's tyrian 95.5% cantha 91 .2 %.

U-maps take a lot longer to find the areas. A zoomed out map you can find some in 10-15 mins usuially. Just be patient. Livingston and Co. are top notch and will see you right.

I had exactly what your map shows, but then I checked the map I made with my preview character and it had that spot revealed. I then spent TWO DAYS trying to reveal it, gave up once, and then finally was successful. My memory isnt the greatest and I don't remember exactly where I stood, but I do remember remarking to myself, "gee, I didn't think the spot would be so north

I've attached where I THINK I stood, but all I know for certain is that it is north of the little temple-y area you can see on your U-map. That's initially where I thought the spot would have to be revealed from, and I tried it to death, but turns out I was incorrect!

I also added two more spots I located which I had more revealed on, so you can maybe get to those before you update.

One tip I've found extremely useful for scrapping together those last couple tenths of a percent:

Stretch your U map to take up the whole screen and take screenshots of all the areas on the map.
Find a good 100% map using stitched-together U maps and save it to your hard drive.
Open the 100% map and your first screenshot. Line up the view on the 100% map so that it shows EXACTLY the same area as your screenshot. (I find it helpful to alt-tab back and forth, keeping track of where zone portals are.)
Alt-tab back and forth between the two images, looking for differences. Because the two are exactly lined up with each other, the only noticeable differences will be any patches of fog that are in one but not the other, making them very easy to catch visually.
Repeat for each of your screenshots.

Took me about an hour to find and visit six locations where I was missing fog, and most of that time was spent in-game. While it may not be as fast as the Photoshop trick, it's much less prone to error.

I can do a higher resolution that I normally use as well but the edges get cut off...

Also: How do you get that spot by Nundu Bay? I can't get it to unfog! :O

Edit: Nevermind, I got it - you have to go outside of town and go the southermost part of the rocky ledge on the beach.

Please help me out, i'm at 99.7% and i'm going crazy.

I see a couple spots that I should be able to get, but when I go out there, I can't...no matter what I do. I've stood in place for like 5 minutes at the location closest to some of these spots, and nothing happens...still.

Just made it to 95% last night...I still have the Dynastic Tombs to do and some classic "Barrel Scraping" also. My question is this. Are the Dynastic Tombs only accessible as part of the challenge mission or is there another way to get in there? Once I'm in (since I stuck my head around the corner last night) what on earth am I supposed to do? All i found were a load of locked doors...and a nasty overpowered lvl 8! And I thought Wavecrest Stonebreak was bad.

So many people have the title already. I only just got to 78% today, hehe. The last mission I did was Tihark (something). My guildies think I'm rushing too, it is quite amusing. Glad there are maps up already. Perhaps they will be more complete by the time I need them.

I am at 98.1% of Tyria, but the rest will have to wait till I am done with Nightfall. Or at least completed the missions.

I got the Grandmaster Cartographer title last night without having to back track and redo any areas and without having to look at any maps for help :-))

Overall I dont think this map was too difficult. I wall hugged every area and every town the first time I entered it and reached 98.6% by the time I got to the Vortex. The final 1.4% was all in the challenge mission that I had not done at all.

I am very impressed with how fast some of you got this title though!

This gives me 3 x Grandmaster Cartographer which along with my Protector of Tyria and Protector of Cantha gives me Kind of a Big Deal :-))

I also have 15 out of 15 masters in Elona so far, so my next challenge is Protector of Elona.

I much prefered this map to Cantha. There is some stunning scenery to be found out there, and some great places hidden away in difficult to get to parts of the map.
