Hi, I posted in here a few months ago asking for a map check. I had 96% then and I've gotten up to 96.5%, but I don't remember where I actually went. If someone could check my map again so I can get an idea where to go (I don't wanna go somewhere I've already been, that just wastes time IMO), I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Area right above Ice caves of sorrow
Area in Gates of Kryta northwest of the first boss
Is it possible to provide a somewhat larger picture (like 1024x768 or 1280x1024)?
It's hard to do a visual compare on such a small picture.
Wobrak, who did the compares, quit (post #3264) and I know how to do the difference compare with circles, but it's a lot more time consuming for me compared to a visual look at the right resolution.
If you can't submit in 1024 or 1280, please take a look at post #3288, imkey made full resolution shots of the whole map.
With my tips, he got 100%, so those two together should help you out.

It depends very much on the areas that you have explored.
My rangers map differs a lot from my mesmers map.
But my mesmer (my second GMC) cleared a lot more on the edges, because I wanted to know how much you could leave unexplored.
On first sight, my ranger map and mesmers map don't differ that much, but when you look better, you see all kinds of tiny bits here and there on my ranger's.
And almost none except a huge part on my mesmers.
Specially Witman's Folly and Kryta have a few pieces on them that are almost invisible. Some parts of the jungle are hard to see.
The desert is also hard to compare, except on the edges.
Check my 100% map (#3269 and #3271) for compare.
Don't look at Lornar's, I still have to clear that one.

Eh, you got GM with that huge chunk and a few things left? Not fair, all I got left are few puny scraps on the edges and still a little over 3% to go *pouts*

South + East wall of Dragon's Gullet
Yak's Bend arena (you can enter, don't have to play)
The tar at Ruins of Surmia (top)
Evinia's cell at Ice Caves of Sorrow
The lake in north east area of The Wilds mission (bonus area)
Kill the last (east) tower at Riverside Province mission, walk down to the water and on the pier
East wall in Iron Mines mission could be done better (work top down towards bonus area and from there further down).
North wall in Majesty's Rest (above Rotscale)
A small piece on the beach north (west) of Beetlerun
East side Diessa Lowlands, just below entrance to Foothills.

Yes, that's a 100% map.
But, it only misses a very small amount of other spots (I have identified 4 or 5 so far).
Meaning somewhere on your map the same amount of ground is still covered in fog. That's not 'a few puny scraps on the edges'.
When I started Lornar's, I was at 99% and could not find other spots at that moment. Or did not know how to reach them. Meaning there is about 2x the entire Lornar's Pass hidden on your map

Thanks, Jos, your map had the missing corners in southern shiverpeaks!
But, seriously, and no offense, but without the old arenas the map you posted wouldn't be anywhere near 100%. I had everything you had uncovered and then some, e.g. the area northeast of Henge and the southwest of the fire islands, and still just barely got to 100%.
It seems to me as if the arenas were the "leeway" in reaching 100%, because there's definitely less than 1% leeway left now.

OK jos with your map compared I got 98.9%!
Thats decent but Now i seiously cant find anything, i look between ur map with the huge chunk missing and my map, and it looked like my map was better than yours because i have that part of lornars, i compared it to several other maps, i think my map is glitched or something, if anyone can help me out with the last 1.1% id be gratefull THANKS!

My map does not have the old arenas. My mesmer is not even a year old.
Even worse, afaik they closed the arenas in Januari 2006, when I did not even have the game!
You can enter Ascalon arena and Yak's arena outposts with a lvl 20 character, which I did. I did not enter the arena areas themself.
I'm willing to do a compare on your 100% one and mine to show all the differences. I bet there will be a lot

I can't see any differences and my max resolution is 1280x1024.
I rescaled yours and tried to rescale one of mine accordingly.
It turned out horrible, but I can work with it.
- South wall of Iron Horse Mine
- East wall of Frost Gate mission. Also hit the north wall in the outpost.
- South wall Deldrimor Bowl (path to Kryta, near the building halfway)
- Area north west of first boss in Gates of Kryta
- South area below Beetlerun exit to Cursed Lands
- West beach in D'Alessio Seaboard mission
- Check the lake in 'The Wilds' mission (I'm not sure about that one, check it on minimap before you go in)
- South west corner of The Falls
- Spear Head Peak, the little point on the east wall is to large
- Tasca's Demise, north side near exit to Mineral Springs
- Mineral springs west wall
- Frozen Forrest, spot in the middle of the south wall
- Talus chute, large part above Ice Caves of Sorrow. Also a spot on the north wall (near entrance to Icedome). Also a spot west of Droknar's, behind the troll cave.
- South wall in Thunderhead, also east wall outside the fort (explore when you have finished mission)
- Thirsty river, south west corner (ranger boss building)
- Arid Sea, south west corner near entrance to Vulture
Issac:
Load image 1 in gimp.
Open image 2 as layer (make sure you have the same resolution).
Set the layer on Difference (it starts on 'Normal').
Look for spots that highlight, dark blue and light brown most of the times.

My teams just all use X/N, it's easy to pull in more enemies for necrotic traversal. I even do this with heroes.

I'm currently at 99,1%, and I've no idea where to find the other 0,9% (oh, this sound so much like all the other things posted here )
If someone can take a look at this, though my map is at 1024x768 (I can't find a 100% map of that size anywhere, else I would do it myself), and I've a low screen quality. When I zoomed in myself, places I did explore seemed as not explored, imo.
I hope someone can find the missing 0,9%.

Posting #3271 (page 164) has a 100% map
Areas:
- Dunes of Despair Bonus area (west wall)
- Frost Gate east wall and low south east corner
- Deldrimor Bowl, south wall on path to Kryta. Also a spot above that on the central mountain
- Ice Caves of Sorrow, Evinia's cell. Also the spot on the north wall is too thick (east side).
- You missed a spot in central Talus Chute
- South wall of Riverside Province mission. Also kill the last (east) tower and walk to the water and on the pier
- Upper side D'Alessio Seaboard, in the area where you have to deliver the urn
- Thunderhead Keep south wall and North area (finish mission and explore outside)
- Yaks bend, enter the Arena outpost
- I think you might have missed the lake near the bonus area in The Wilds mission (check it out first)
- Regent Valley, near the entrance to Old Ascalon
This sould get you a lot towards 100%

Some of the things you say I've done allready, but prolly I did not scrape carefull enough. I got myself to 99,4% between this and my last post, that was in Ettin's Back and Riverside Province. So your tips will work, I hope.
