I'm at 97.3%, and I know I still need that Dunes Bonus area, but other than that, I'm stumped. Any help is appreciated~ Hopefully the map is okay, my screen resolution isn't very big. :[

Crap 99.2
Thanks Wobrak.... you easily brought me from 97.7 to 99.2. Ill try and get the rest later.
Regarding Dunes, there is a draw bridge that seems to be closed for me, it is the one on the right entering the temple thing. I have spoken to many people and they say I must just run over it. I can’t.
I have tried teleporting, I have tried killing the bad CASPER fighting till 6mins, but I cant cross it. It is as if it is up. (if you look at your map for dunes it will be the bottom left corner of dunes)
BTW, when I teleported i died then my henchies came to the rescue, never knew they knew how to fly.
Any help or tips will be appreciated, it is about .1% of my map, maybe.
http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/8...thmoi99lu6.jpg --- updated map. I know about the areas - Fire isles and duned (witch Im trying to get into) rest is kid of a mystery and I revisited most of them places Wobrak pointed out to me.

I went ahead redid your map.
When you attempt to cross the bridge of faith, what exactly happens? Do you run up to the edge of the moat and then stop as normal? Or are you stopped before the edge as though you hit a wall?
It might be that you were just catching the edge of a blocking volume and that made it appear as though you were being stopped. Since I wasn't there I can only speculate on why this happened. I'll revisit Dunes to attempt to duplicate the problem.

It is as if the bridge is up. I hit the end of the ground, where the bridge would beif it was down. I don’t reach the wall area on the other side at all. There was a few times where them archer dudes was body blocking me although there was a gap running in-between them. If it happens again ill do a screenie.
Ill just have to redo it again, about 10 times now ;( but to Masters I need it I know.
PS Thanks for all the Maps...Ill go redo them areas AGAIN....... sigh how hard is .8% actually.

Glad to hear you made it across. The rest of the mobs in that fort can be a pain. There is a small rest area against the far south wall where the mobs don't enter your agro circle. It's almost directly south of the entrance. I'm not sure but I don't think the west area of the fort has a rest area. Once you've mapped that area the rest will be a breeze and you too will be a Tyrian GMC.

Could someone quickly explain the method of difference mapping? I have a 1024x768 100% and my 1024x768 map and im trying to create a map that I can use to attack the areas I need. I already have Protector of Tyria and GMC of Elona so I'm only after GMC of Tyria.
If possible, can I do a difference map with The Gimp image editor or is it a special Photoshop plugin/filter?
Thank you in advance, I know many of you are busy with GMC titles and helping those get GMC titles.

Thanks for the loads of information. I've used some of it to knock off a full percentage today. I'm only at 92.5% though so I must be missing some obvious areas. If I had PS I'd try the differences map myself, but since I don't I'll have to ask for your help. I'll upload and hopefully get some ideas where I'm missing.
Thanks again.

I don't have photoshop, but I noticed the following areas to be suspicious (ones in bold I'm sure/almost sure about, ones in italics are doubtful):
- Between The Breach and The Great Northern Wall mission
- Between Ice Floe and Frozen Forest (looks like you haven't been near this portal)
- Bit of the Gates of Kryta beach area
- Between Borlis Pass mission and Iron Horse Mines
- A chunk of tar in the upper left corner of Ruins of Surmia mission
- Various bits in Dunes of Despair mission
- Small bits in Thirsy River mission
- Upper part of Nebo Terrace
- Bit in the middle of Divinity Coast mission
Remember I am using my eyes, and it's about half an hour before I intend to go to sleep, so don't bet any money that I'm right. Just some stuff to keep you going until people who have modern equipment can help.
EDIT: Nevermind, someone got in before me (you can bet money on this guy though, he got me to 100%)

Hey guys,
I am at 98.3% explored, I have been reading your posts and people say that you do not need ALL the map explored. I have photoshop and have done the comparison, however what i have left to explore does not seem to me to be enough to add up to 1.7% and if it does i would probably have explored absolutely everywhere. If someone could comparison me properly if they have time i would be very greatful.
Here is my map (1024 x 768)

As everyone, I am once again frustrated. Here is my 99.5% .. any help is appreciated. im afraid the last bit of lonrars pass may be required .. here is also a difference map of mine.. If u could post the best overall 1280x1024 they have out now that would be great. I read somewhere you can use random arenas to open up the old arenas... I tried but running the henge of denravi arena didnt do a thing, so I'm guessing this doesnt work?
