Indian, you *may* be able to set your screen at 1024x768 and take the shot, but it may be warped (I have a widescreen laptop also). If that won't work I'm planning on installing photoshop today at work, so I can use yours for a guinea pig run . Luciora, how do you do your comparisons so I can help? thanks
Edit: K Indian, PS installed and I took my own screeny at 1280x800, can you edit your last with your latest shiftshot at that res? I did what I could with the one on the last page though, but its 1024x768 and may not be current? anyhow, heres what I found.
edit#2: I have improved my technique, plus your new map can you do 1920x1200? I wanna screen all of them at that res.

@Pheff: just hit the go advanced button, towards the bottom is manage attachments. This brings up a popup for uploading your pic. You can just edit your post to do this.
@Ace ok, still new at this, but figured out a new trick for comparing. I'll repost a new one a little later as I can see more spots and those that I gave you aren't 1.1% - Luciora is VERY good at these so I can't hope to compete, just trying to help Edit: Theres 2 spots you have that I dont (thanks) but here's my better effort:

yes i would not mind knowing how to take a non-labeled fullscale screenshot of my world map -.-
I got my 100% yesterday, so if i knew how i could post it and it may help.
the LAST area i uncovered to get my 100% was NW of D'Seaboard where there is a Caromi boss (the area isnt very faded so it doesnt look uncoverable, but it is)

@Pfeff: OK, from the top
From the zoomed OUT full world map, shift-printscreen (remember the path). You MAY first want to make sure that your screen resolution is set to 1280x1024 or 1024x768 in F11 graphics tab in game though as these are best. Open this screenshot in paint and save it again as a jpg(at highest quality). Now you are ready to post it, if you make any kind of post, or edit an existing one, there is a 'Go Advanced' button on the lower right of the edit window. Press it, this remember anything you've typed in already so don't worry. On the new page near the bottom is another button 'Manage Attachments' press it. In the popup window, browse for the jpg you just saved and then hit the attach button. Save changes, Thats it.
@Indian, no problemo, I was learning as I went and you do have a few spots for me to still clear as well... but I may have found one or two more spots on the bigger map (reposted in same post last page). Good Luck.

Thanks for the assist lennymon Sorry I didn't post the last batch of maps yet, couldn't get onto the site last night, kept getting server errors I'll post them this afternoon though
Lennymon, basically I just flip between the two maps slowly going every bit of it to find blotches that does not fit. Then I invert both maps and do it again. This usually helps to point out spots I missed (wall creeps).
Indian, try posting anything in the 1280 range, I'll try from my laptop for a different res since the screen on here is a bit more flexible than my lcd at home. The higher res just allows me to zoom in more without distortion, so it is a little easier to look for the wall creep spots that you require

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing 'the manual method' flipping back and forth, it works far better for me than the original protocol with difference layers. Thanks Luciora.
Just in case anyone finds it usefull... Here's my '100%' *without anything but the 2 arena lobbies* at <1920x1200>. I use '100%' since I have a few known missing spots, which I will edit out once I get them, but they are a small spot in se corner of frost gate, might be something in the hills on east talus and another on the east wall halfway up from Grenths in the corridor. Maybe even possibly another spot or two that haven't popped out at me yet.
1920x1200BMP
1920x1200JPG
Just a reminder, we will likely miss spots around towns if your map has the town pegs in it, for best results use SHIFT-Printscreen when you take the screenshot.

Ah, I didn't know about the town pegs messing up the analysis. Here is an updated screenshot, I cleared some fog in Ascalon, but my percentage remains the same. >< Hope this is big enough.
