But that is what I used also, put the three necros to one side, me (warrior) monk ranger mesmer henchie went to the other and I never had to go check on my heroes. When I was done with the first wave, turned off the flags, went and easily wiped the guys on the hill, mission done (and that was in HM).

On HM, I brought along a bonder because I was too lazy to charge back and forth on each side. With a bonder, I was able to walk back and forth from each side easily keeping the kilns from dying. An MM certainly helps a lot as it helps prevent the kilns from being hit. Also, I suggest you bring a lightning damage weapon as Gadd casts a very annoying hex which prevents the target from taking damage except from lightning.
