Step By Step inscructions to Leveling fast in Nighfall!
Hi, Finalhack13 here and about to tell you the leveling trick that is a garunteed success! I myself have made 4 characters in Elona and being a Faction leveler myself found it unbearable and long to level. So I am now going to tell you the way to level to a 20 faster than factions.
Requirements:
1. 4000 gold (for scrolls later on)
2. GWEN Campaign
3. Nighfall (Ofcourse)
**This trick is also able to be done by a prophecies character. What you have to do is get to a 10 and get a runner to Lions Arch and you can travel to the north!
1. Attain a level 10 in Nightfall (This is easily done as there are tons of quest to do and all are decently easy. It shouldn't take that long to get that level)
2. Travel to Kamadan (MUST BE A LEVEL 10) and obtain Hole In Istan from Bendah who is near the top of the stairs leading to the Dye Trader and Merchant.
3. Complete the quest (This should be easy because most enemies are around level 8 and you will automatically be buffed as a level 20)
4. Upon completion you will be at Boreal Station and get some experience and the Heroes Vekk (Asuran Elementalist) and Ogden Stonehealer (Dwarven Healer) and Against the Destroyer will appear in your quest log which is the main quest that the other factions quests branch from.
5. At Boreal you can take the Hero Tutorial (for all you prophecies characters or if you just want some more XP). But if not follow the Against the destroyers quest to Eye Of North and as said before, follow the storyline and you should then have 3 new quest...One for Norn,Asura, and Vangaurd.
6. The quest that will take you to the leveling spot is called Northern Allies. Follow that quest to Gunaar Hold (there will be a few enemies along the way but nothing that should worry you. The nornbear is easy enough to kill just be careful of him because he hits hard!)
7. Upon Reaching Gunaar Hold talk to Kilroy Stonekin and recieve the quest Punch the Clown, which is a solo mission (only you can be in your party) but its a brawling match and completing the quest is easy.
8. After beating that quest your are now able to recieve the quest Kilroy Stonekins Punch-out Extravagenza! This is the quest that will solve all of your leveling issues. But again this is a solo brawl quest (remmeber to be alone in your party and to equip your brass knuckles).
9. Before starting the quest talk to the merchant at the hold and buy 4000 gold worth of scrolls of Hunters Insight. it should be around 13 scrolls whihc will be enough to level you up.
10. Start the quest and as soon as you arrive in the dungeon activate your scroll and then start killing enemies like crazy. You obtain 200 health per kill so dying isnt a problem. You should get around 450xp each kill leveling you up extremely fast.
11. After the boss battle at the end and the completion of the dungeon you can either wait for 2 1/2 minutes to get all your mised loot or map travel back to the hold and turn in your quest for an easy 2.5k xp. THIS IS A REPEATABLE QUEST EITHER ZONE OUT AND THEN BACK IN OR SWITCH TO A DIFFERENT DISCTRICT.
That is all and if done right you should be leveled to a 20 within a few hours.

Well done, nice guide.
But seriously, do we need a guide to tell people to go boxing?
Also.. this should more properly be labelled.. "how to level fast in GWEN".

Re:
Thanks For input...but Factions characters cannot reach GWEN until a higher level and it's very fast to level so this isnt needed in that case. But I did mention this is a very fast and cheap power leveling idea for both characters in NF and Prophecies. But ya you're probably right about naming it how to GWEN level but I only make factions and NF chars so this seemed like the right title to me. Also I never explained how to box, but on how to get to be able to box. I know it seems kind of obvious that this would work but I was blissfully unaware of this power levelig option and had tried Droks leveling which is EXPENSIVE.

Boxing is VERY effective with quick leveling- two LB scrolls and one and a partial run got me from lvl 14 to lvl 20.

Re
Basically getting to level 10 is just Grinding SS or questing. In nightfall it does NOT take long at all to get to a 10 especially when most of the istan quest are easy. It's just those higher levels that take forever. SO this guide, despite what the name says, is not a leveling guide for every single quest and mission to get from a 1 to a 10. This is merely an alternative way to skip all the questing above 10. In any game there will always be questing. I'm sorry though if my title misinformed you. You are right though I should have stated that this was an EoTN leveling for 11-20.
Another thing...if you don't have EoTN then the second fastest way (Which is also ALOT more expensive) is getting a run to Droks and getting a power leveler there.
Pros-You can get there at a level 3, is somewhat faster than quest leveling, and requires little/no work
Cons-expensive (usually around 15k-20k depending on level and where you've been run to, Sometomes the monk that levels you is a newb and can't do it right, and lastly it does take ALOT longer than Kilroy Leveling and is extrememly boring.
So if you really hate NF leveling then EoTN is definetly a great investment and has a pretty good campaign also.
And yes this is also chosen as leveling because you can easily get survivor on it and with patience and money even Rank 3 Survivor.

But what if you also don't have Prophecies? This thread fails, as you are not really lvling in NF at all(which only takes what, 15-6 hours to do anyway). We've known about the boxing in EoTN for some time now. Its not really worth the effort unless you are going for survivor or a low lvl from Prophecies.

Short version of the guide:
-Reach level 10
-Go to eotn
-Go to Gunnar's hold
-Buy Scrolls
-Box
I wouldn't call this the guide the title made it out to be, it's more of a how to get to gunnar's guide than anything else. But it's more than what you get out of most people, and it's readable, organised and answers questions i'm sure some new players had. So thanks for making it.

To get to level 10 very quickly, ask for/wait on a ferry to docks. Buy max armor (you should have the money, as this should not be done on your first play through). Go out solo. Kill things, do not collect quest rewards yet, save them till level 8 or 9 (except the SS grind quest). Gauge the difficulty of what you are killing to the exp reward.
You can have a level 10 character this way in about 1-3 hours max.
About the max armor, you will be glad you have it when you do make to EotN.

Ok i'm tired of people saying this guide is useless...First of all it IS NOT hard to level to a 10 within a few hours. This is a roleplaying game and requires some sort of a diverse effort to play at least some of the quest that ANET graciously made so easy for lower levels. So don't even whine about leveling to a 10 when 11-20 is the hardest part.
GRINDING IS NOT HOW TO LEVEL TO 10 FAST. JUST QUEST AND YOU'LL BE THERE SOON ENOUGH.

This is basically what I did to level my dervish from 5-20 in 3 hours or so. He's been a mule stuck at low level for months. Now he's a level 20 mule. The only difference with the OP's method is that I used the old Kamadan Canthan Ambassador GH trick to unlock LA and KC, and got a ferry to Docks as well. During the more recent free trial to GWEN, I just mapped to KC, took "Welcome to Cantha" so I could have 5 NPC allies follow me without taking XP while I did starter quests. Reached 10 in no time, then boxed for the rest(10-20). I only used the cheap +50% scrolls, so I had to do 4-5 boxing runs, I think, or it would have been even faster.
Unsure if you can do this, now. You might be able to get a "ferry" to Cantha with someone who has this quest: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Plague_in_Cantha
Or you could just level on Istan. Level 10 doesn't take all that long.

or if you hate grinding that much to level 10 (which isnt a lot), make a tyrian character, get to ascalon, get ran to LA, go to cantha, have a friend do a few of the quests around kaening which will get you lvl 10. use LA to get to GWEN.

I wasn't complaining about leveling to 10. I was attempting to point out how these guides are quick to assume that A) we are loaded with gold from the start. B) We are born at Level 10. C) Lastly we have vast amount experience with Nightfall professions.
I read a lot guides and no one wants to write one that doesn't make massive amount of assumptions that we are prepared to do what the guide is suggesting.

I think the guides are for people that have finished the games or been playing for a while, I don't think attempting legendary survivor on your first play through would be fun or even realistic. I just started over after having my rank 2 survivor die due to a lag on my side.
