Can anyone give me some hints / help on the trials?
I've gotten to the point where it says I've completed 1 challenge but can't go anywhere, all the exits are locked.
If I go back and start again I start from 0 tests completed.
Guildies say they'll help but never do.
I'm an Elem using all fire spells along with some enrgy mgt.
Would I be better off switching to an "Air" type skill set?
I have an air wand with bonus against undead - are the NPC's (djinn & I don't know what the other things were) dead?
I've looked at the wikii page and it doesn't help.
One other thing - the bonus is to get 3/3 treasures. I can only find one chest - the one gaurded by "blue saphire djinn"
If I try to open it it says wrong key - I HAVE a lock-pick. I also have picked up 2 Red Ruby keys from dead djinn while in the vestiblule.
I've gotten to the same point 3 times now. I can hear enemies & see them behind walls but can't get to them. getting frustrated.

Firstly, lockpicks are for opening chests, they don't open doors or anything.
iirc theres a boss sort of djinn in each section, kill them and get the key.
If you need help surviving (which I'm not sure about because you list build and weapon stuff), then just take someone with [skill=text]Recovery[/skill].
Just make sure you get the bosses, if all else fails just kill everything.

See that's it. Twice I've cleared everything I can get to the remainining creatures are behind walls.
When you enter there are a group of 3 Djinn on either side, then through a hallway there's three groups of some ghost looking NPCs then the last group is two roaroing ethers and a couple djinn.
After that it's me & my heros & henchies walking around an empty building.
( I try using the lockpick on the chest gaurded by sapphire djinn IIRC)

You need to backtrack all he way back to the main hall from which you started. the entrance to the other halls is on the left and right from the center hall respectively! Ohh and bring pain inverter if you can cause its going to hurt.

From the first room with the pool in the middle is the 3 branches. When you clear out the room you get the middle door to open up(assuming facing the 3 doors). Inside there are lesser and greater aspects of "x", one boss and I think 2 sets of mobs - one per side of this room. It also has a treasure chest that you can't have the key for quite yet. After you kill everything go back to the main(starting) room. If facing the 3 doors again now the left doorway is open.
You will face some traps, djinn, and other mobs and a test of your knowledge of the gods of Tyria. The test is pretty easy imo but even if you are wrong, the fights are not too hard. Kill another boss and you will again find a chest that you can open this time. The first boss dropped the key for this chest. You now have 1 treasure and the 3rd doorway should now be open.
Go back to the main room and take the door on the right. This side has traps, djinn, and hecket I think. One more test and past the pedestal is a boss and the last treasure chest(which you should be able to open also). Finish the trial , kill the boss djinn, and get your 2nd treasure.
Now finally go back to the starting room and go to the middle door again. You can now open that treasure chest which gives you all 3 for the bonus. Farther north another door is open now that lets you proceed to fight the 3 boss djinns.
I would try to pull them individually myself but regardless, done deal. Masters bonus and all.
