here is the fastest way to beat the doppleganger in at L15. about 10-20secs in HM. It can be done with R/ or /R ranger. Fastest way to get to survivor 100,000XP and then to get Guardian (easy extra 2,000XP) :P

In this case it was Me/R

Ursan Blessing (e)
Brambles
Conflagration
Edge of Extinction
Energizing Wind
Favourable Winds
Frozen Soil
Predatory Season

It was very easy, we just went across to GWEN and did the first few quests to get the Norn Blessing - Ursan and then went to Augury Rock to do the doppleganger (after the other missions of course). It;s easy, the doppleganger is stupid so they cast all the spirits first. each one takes 5 seconds to cast so you basically have 7*5 = 35 sec before the dopple will do anything at all.

Just cast Ursan and claw him to death. So safe even the kiddies at home can do it.

i used the nec method. sacrifice etc. pretty hilarious, goes down in ~6 secs in HM

I just brought /me along with [skill=text]signet of midnight[/skill], [skill=text]clumsiness[/skill], [skill=text]empathy[/skill] and [skill=text]signet of clumsiness[/skill].

Blind him with sig of midnight and he won't be able to do any damage to you, spam the other skills on recharge to damage him. Don't attack back, only use the skills.
