Shiro Invincible? o.O
Did Arena Net change Shiro? He seemed a lot harder than he used to be.

Wild Blow is needed to take out Battle Scars. This stance gives him life steal equal to the highest amount of damage he takes...add to that his double striking ability and just the amount of times he hits things, well, I've seen good parties go down because the tank forgot to bring Wild Blow and get rid of this stance.
Meditation of the Reaper can be a pain (this is when he sits corss-legged, floating in the air). You cannot really stop this, you can only hope to end it as soon as possible. The best way to do that is:
Bring an E/Me with Arcane Echo, Echo [E] and Celestial Storm. The way you use it is Arcane Echo -> Echo -> Celestial Storm -> Echo (from Arcane Echo) -> Celesital Storm (from Echo) -> Celestial Storm (from Arcane Echo). I personally also bring along Glyph of Sacrifice and Meteor Shower, Meteor and Fireball, but that's just me. What you then do is that after hitting Shiro with the Celestial Storms (note the plural) you then change targets to the summoned Shiro'ken and hit him with the insta-MS (thanks to the Glyph), then the other spells until the thing drops. Killing it will give you a morale boost (!) which will refresh your 3 copies of Celesital Storm, giving you 3 more (for a total of 6) to use against Shiro.
If you do this right, you generally don't need monks as Shiro will be dead before anyone really needs healing. Just pin/body block him in place and beat him down with the skills given to you by Kuunvang. Ritualists, Dervishes and Paragons actually help a fair amount with this, as the skill they get deals damage and protects the entire party for a decent amount of damage.
Note: there really aren't any bad classes to bring on this mission as they're all very powerful. The trick is that Heroes don't get them and the Hench don't use them very well (but at least they get them). If you can manage to find a human group, sometimes that helps.

Meditation of the reaper is in factions, you have to have dmg to kill hit him for 500 or so quickly while he just sits there. Go go go Celestial storm

I use a "Wild strike" Sin to get rid of his stances, use that with a warrior with wild blow and he should go down, i normally have a 90% success rate doing it that way.

Well, not long after factions was released the most popular method used to beat him be people struggling using other means was to simply take as many warriors as you can, body block him and then all hit storm of swords.
With 6 warriors thats 900 damage a second for 15 seconds for a total of 13500 damage.

Barbs and Celestial Horrors, applied with many physical attackers. I got banished straight away and the mission finished while I was running up the mountain. A good Curses Necro can lead to a very quick mission, with the right back-up of course.

I just run enough warriors to chain the elite thingy you get. Even if you're a caster, you have to stand around him.

Bring an assassin... Six celestial horrors are nice to have with you in combo with Storm of Swords.
