Default Getting to EotN from Factions
If this has been explained somewhere else I apologize, I couldn't find it.

I finally got EotN and would like to start working on getting some heroes for my PvE R. Unfortunately, everyone I've asked doesn't really seem to know how to get that done if you're playing from Factions, only NF.

I've been to LA, started doing the mission line there up until The Wilds. I've been into southern Shiverpeaks to Droknar's Forge. But getting into EotN and getting some much needed Heroes has eluded me.

What step am I missing? Thanks for any help!

When you zone into Kaineng, LA or Kamadan, you'll get a message saying "A New Path Has Opened! Speak to ______ To Unlock Travel to Eye of the North!" Or something along those lines. Find the person, talk to them, do the quest.

Crazy, I don't get that message. I'm thinking I might reinstall Proph, Factions and EotN and see if it opens up. At least I know what to look for now though, thanks.

did you activate the key code for EotN because the game allone won't help you any further with out EotN unlocked on your account

There is more info, the first three quests are the ones you're looking for. Only need to do one.

No need to reinstall. Just go to LA or Kaineng and seek out the quests "What lies beneath" or "I feel the earth move" from the npcs there. Provided of course that you actually entered your EoTN access key onto your account(neglecting to do so is a common mistake).

You do also have to be 10th level. It's possible that was your problem.
